Which Programme Will Be Suitable For An Advanced Person? by Cornel88(m): 5:35pm On Jul 29, 2012 |
I finished Secondary School in 2006. Since then I have been struggling 2 acquire admission into higher education, going through series of JAMB and post JAMB exams, all to no avail, not because I have not been able to get up to school cut-off mark. At 24, I'm the first and only son (first child) out of 3 children. My dad will b retiring by middle of next year and since I have not been able secure admission into a school at the moment, I don't think it will b advisable 4 me to keep trying JAMB and PUME, bearing in mind that my dad will not be working by middle of next year. I work as a proofreader in a law firm (semi skilled labourer) but my remuneration will not help in caring for my family after my dad must have retired and now I'm thinking of how to meet up. I have thought of enrolling myself in event planing, possibly M.C. in addition but I still doubt my decision. I have been following Nairaland for long now and I've been impressed with most comments on topics here. Today I'm a member of Nairaland and I seek for your advice over my own issue. What programme would u advice me to go 4? Please don't ignore this post. Thanks and God bless. |

Cornel88: How do i go about distance learning? THANKS. u can visit Distance Learning Institute at Unilag, or National Open University of Nigeria at VI. U can also take the ACCA/Oxford Brookes BSc route. I also heard its possible to secure direct entry via professional certs like CIPM, NIPR, etc. Check JAMB brochure. |
