More than 65% of the professional footballers in Nigeria are Igbos so there is no reason not have this in Igboland 1 Like |

Nigeria as a whole does not need any new international stadiums or airports as existing ones are grossly mismanaged and underutilized. |

Complete waste of funds and misplaced priorities. I still dont understand why these people build stadiums that no one can even afford to watch, just look at NPL matches. When the bulk of Anambra is yet to see any sign of development the state government will rather waste billions on a stadium. Pathetic 2 Likes |

It's a good development, for those complaining that it's a waste of state funds, I beleive it's being funded by FLFA, not state government. Perhaps the new stadium will motivate the building of infrastructures, if anything, in that area. Anambra deserves a stadium 1 Like |

Countries are embracing modern sustainable agriculture. And many more. We are building stadiums and what not. Person wey no chop dey watch sports ? No wonder black kids have few intellectuals to look up. This is secondary. |

Great development. Anambra deserves it, but on one condition if only they will not embezzle the money as usual. Just like Airport project in Oba then. 1 Like |

Rubbish mr Obi and Fifa u guys should go get another place for ur project cos that land is the only land left for us after a land dispute between Ogidi and Nkpor people. Are we even sure Mr Obi is telling us the truth from what am seen that is the stractagy they want to adapt in settling the land dispute. Honestly they are not going to build anything they are just desiveing my kings men. |

PatheticAnd you think the international stadium when built can not bring about this ur so called development? Listen serious govts do not concentrate all attention on one sector alone, diversiication is key to national development. Pple have kald for international world class sporting facilities to improve the dev. of sports in the country, why u cant view this in line with dat call is only known to you. I will say good job Obi, bring it to fruition and my Imo will tap in. 1 Like |
