i think there's no need wasting your breath on those who insist on sticking with the past. manual drives are a fading technology and with time there would be none around for anyone to bother with. its just like people holding on to their black and white tvs where lcd and leds are now the norm.

Have you watched the Advert Video of the just released Peugeot 508, launched two months ago? If you havent, please try do. Both cars used, 508 Sedan & Wagon, in the advert were all Manual transmissions. So, I wonda where you got your info that Manual trans is going into extinction.

the car manufacturers are out to make a profit and will always try and bend over backwards to accomodate as many customers that refuse to move with change. however they can only continue doing that for so long before they abandon the lord lugard drivers to their fate!
