Hello All,

For those still planning on what to do as regards to Aussy migration, i guess now is the time to take the bull by the horn, paradventure Aussy implements the recent consideration of a price based system. A system that will cost $50,000 to migrate. RIDICULOUS.

Hopefully, such changes will not be approved.

My People,

I have just done my medicals @ Fatayi Williams Clinic. I would like to lodge for my visa on Wednesday.
Question: I would like to know what they mean by including my dependants in my form 157A. I have two children who
would be joining me later. Please how do I include them? On the IMMI site, it states that if they are not included they wont be able to
join me later on. Please someone should assist to explain.

Thanks.

.

I can speak on Engineer Australia; it is clear what the minimum qualifications are for various cadres. Professional Engineer- 5yrs Engineering degree (B.Eng), Engineering Technologist- Associate degree (4/3yrs) and Engineering Associates-Advanced Diploma (2yrs), which Nigerian equivalence is either ND or HND.

If your qualification is ND/HND, DO NOT NOMINATE either PE or ET.

You will get 10points if you were assessed as equivalent to Engineering Associate either with your ND/HND. You could use your ND provided there would be more years of experience to claim.

Please don't try using your ND alone no matter your years of work experience. I once made that mistake through Vetassess by trying to assess myself as a Civil Engineering Technician using only my ND without including my B.Tech because i felt ND was enough and would give me more post study work exp points...vetassess unfortunately didn't equate my ND to an Australian Diploma and said i don't meet the minimum education criteria.

My advice is to go through Vetassess and apply with both your ND & HND.

Thank u bro, i actually intend using both.

I had my transcript Evaluated by WES last yr for admission purpose and the equate it to 3 years adnvace diploma plus 1 yr post graduate certificate.

With the (ND + HND) Chemical Engineering technology i still cant find the right occupation to go for oo.
I was hoping i will fall in Engineering Technologist. Coz thats wat is actually writen on my transcript "CHEMICAL ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY"

Still searching for the right occupation
