I think it was 2 days, because accounts in Mark and Luke say that Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of James viewed the laying of Christ's body on the preparation day (preparation for Sabbath ie Friday) and then rested on Sabbath day before returning back to the tomb on the day after Sabbath to meet that he was no longer there. . . .
Come to think of it, I am not even sure it was up to 2 days because he might have left the tomb on Sabbath day, and there is no way for it to be known if he did do that, since no one went to the tomb on Sabbath day to check it.

then what is the origin of christians believing it was 3 days. But Jesus said he was going to stay in the belly of land just as Jonah stayed 3 days in the belly of fish

on wednesday at around 3pm he was crucified.

the next day,thursday was the first day of unleavened bread which is also a sabbath(a high sabbath).you can see reference to that if you check mark 15:42-47 and also read mark 16.

This makes more sense than the Friday to Sunday theory. However, how are you so sure that the 14th day of Nisan fell on a Tuesday?
And why is Good Friday (the anniversary of Christ's crucifixion) celebrated on a Friday?

because iit fell on a tuesday for that year.the paasover is usually celebrated during the night of the first full moon of the first month of spring.such details are usually recorded.

the date for easter was fixed by the council of nicea.it was decided that easter be celebrated on the first sunday after the full moon that follows the spring equinox.easter was made to replace the passover(which is another way christians break the laws of yahweh).however,at that time the aim was to ensure that easter was celebrated immediately after the passover.as time went by,passover was eased out for easter and the date was changed to the sunday immediately after the paschal full moon.hence it didnt depend on the date of passover or lunar events.the next step was to synchronize the dates on the julian and gregorian calendars and many centuries after,we have easter as we know it.

bear in mind that early christians didnt celebrate easter.so you should realise that the easter celebration is a creation of the catholic church

that asinine argument was put forward by proponents of "he died on friday".however jesus was clear that "just as jonah was in the belly of the fish for three days and three nights,so shall the son of man be in the grave for 3 days and 3 nights"

besides,how can isreal's day be 12hours?does that even make sense?
you dont even understand what that argument stated.they intended to translate the hebrew word "yom" which jesus used in the verse to mean "a lenght of time" and not specifically a 24-hour day.however you can see from the accounts that there were 2 sabbaths during those few days

I don't know what your understanding of absolute is but the fact that a day has 24 hours is definitely an absolute. You can take that to the bank
