I hated not being allowed to do chores because I don't do it to "their" satisfaction. It almost made me grow lazy, Adulthood teach differently though |

zoelife: @ opI be first born too but guy I hated it with passion then...I don't hav a choice than to do all work frm house cleaning to our last born cloth...I hate it most when am washing our last born napi becos then na big man dey use pampers ooo...I do cooking and all thing becos my mom is too busy as a single mother....Till now our last is like my child becos na me raised him  If his misbehaving and I show,he go gentle sharp sharp even my mum dey wonder how?I told her am his father Anything abt him na be the judge and my word na final.....Now am enjoying it.....3 Likes |

I hated saturdays,esp when am on hols n am back home from d dormitory! From washing plates,esp garri plates of 7 siblings plus 2parents plus 6cousins living with us;sweeping d compound, washing d louvres,cleaning d firewood cooking space inside d kitchen,cleaning d kitchen,washing of clothes..... I hated saturdays n chores! But thank God i did them,it made me a better man 2de! |

We were raised to do things ourselves both male and female. I hate having to clean after my brothers! Be it to go get them drinking water from the fridge, bring broom, bring their food, just name it. Did I forget to say washing dishes on school morning? |

I hate that too especially washing pots, it so much sucks cuz i got to use a spoon nd scrub all the nyama nyama out(neva use ma hands) *too bad i stil wash them* last born things u knw. lol, same here until my mum taught how to soak them with water so that the stains would go off quickly God bless our mothers |

I so hate washing dishes and clothes. Whenever i'm told to do the dishes,its den i lie about hand injury or i intentionally injure myself. During my undergraduate days,i give those young boys my cloths to wash and pay them. Back in the days i hated doing chores in front of my mum,cos na hell o. She will just pull u back to the beginning cos u havent satisfied her,lol. We so hated those days especially when she was on leave. But now,once she forces me to do something,she will go regret it cos i wil just do it anyhow. Lmao |

Anything involving soap and water. I still hate them and can't wait to pass them to the wife, I don't care how she does it, what matters most is that I'm no longer in charge. |

Mehn, everyday early morning shining of car nor be funny thing o. As in, if u miss it, na long cane go rise u from sleep. My house dey make work tire person jor. So boring, repetitive & monotonous. U go hear, Nna, help me shine my shoe. Nna, come & help me loose my lace & pull my shoe. Nna, i left a 'few' cloth for you. I guess u want to wash today. When u raise the shirt, u go see many many coded clothes under. Fill bottle of water to put in fridge. Washing yama yama plate...eyyuuukkk.. Mehn, during holidays, we go pick beans wey go full big bucket. We go also pick corn for akamu wey go last months. Choi!! Then, na 'Plan B' we dey call our mama, coz any work u start, once she see you, expect additional work in it wey u be nor plan. Mehn, annoying chores/message for my house plenty jor. Can't list all. I still do almost all till date. Oh yeah, i'm grown-up. Infact i weeded half the compound today. To complete tomorrow. Hehe I tell you. Nothing sexy being 2nd-to-last born.  3 Likes |

As the first girl, I was the guinea pig for all chores...most people here are singing the same tune - washing dishes. If na only that one I do, I for happy na. Try 'treating' snails, numbering like 100...until your fingers turn yellow. Worstest chore ever. Then boiling and pounding banga, after which you sieve to 'extract' the juice to make soup. Second worstest chore. Mopping floors comes in third. There are always these tiny short, medium and long strands of hair as you mop. heaven only knows where they come from?Laundry...hmmm! Even till now, whenever I'm home, popsy will heap all those big white 'shimmy' for me to wash. And there's a washing machine at home ooo. He says 'no one washes 'em like I do' Washing fish...and bringing out those smelly things from inside. I don't eat fish till today because of this trauma. 9 Likes |

I hated washing dishes,most especially pots,I hid them pots under my bed..until we'd no pots to cook with,I remember crying at the corner of the house when asked to wash the dishes.my big sis was always the evil witch..now I look back and laugh. |

Washing plates was a no no and also washing clothes. I wish someone could event clothes especially jeans that don't need washing. |
