What do you expect when you put a tractor driver in the cockpit of a fighter jet? The guy will be overwhelmed by the numerous buttons in front of him! The "wisemen" knew why they made him second in command to a terminally ill president :-) They knew he would f**k himself up, the nation and the chance of any Niger Deltan ruling this country!

U must be very myopic for posting this nonsense! Has all this issues u mentioned not existing before he became president.
Ur brother Obasanjo spent trillions of naira on power that never worked before he left and Mr. President is working seriously to solve d power issues in Nigeria. Meanwhile, can u please tell us the outcome of the Oputa Panel Probe on power?
Industries has been leaving before Mr. Jonathan came to power.
Our educational sector has gone comatose before he came to power.
Unemployment has been on the increase before he came to power including US the best "country" in the world.
Is he also the cause of our bad roads, corruption, failure in sports, bad governance by governors, nepotism, ethnicity....
U guys should give him a break please.
Meanwhile, he has done the following:
Improvement in power supply (above 4,000mg) which no government has ever achieved in nigerian history. He did that within 2 years but OBJ spent trillions in 8years and nothing to show 4 it
Free and fair election especially Edo state
Freedom of Information bill 4 u 2 talk and insult d president the way u like
Railway
Massive investment in agriculture
Stable and rise in our crude oil output and revenue
Education in the north to improve their literacy level and which in turn will manage their tolerance level
Boldness to reduce the corruption in d oil sector which led to the national strike in february and our knowledge of what has been happening in d sector.
....and so on

HE HAS ACHIEVED THIS WITHIN TWO YEARS. WHICH GOVERNMENT HAS EVER DONE THE SAME.
PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEE LETS SUPPORT HIM AND ENCOURAGE HIM.
2015 WILL BE A DECIDER IF HE DOESN'T SATISFY US INSTEAD OF ALL THIS HATRED.

It is only a mediocre mind that will see nothing wrong in giving 149 national awards to mostly dubious characters. At least if we can not fight corruption, why encourage it.This is why the likes of Chinua Achebe will never stand in line with those on the list to receive the so called awards.

If true, then no wonder the poor standard of grammar, loose morals, jealousy and outright nastiness exhibited on this forum by so-called Nigerians...

After all said and done, a better Nigeria is a collective responsibility of all, we are all asking the President, what of you and I, what are we too doing to produce a better Nigeria? Nothing will change except we stop this blaming game and start playing our part. God Bless Nigeria.

How did Goodluck Jonahan cause this? The truth is that many Nigerians like forming schooled abroad. Are there no good universities in the country? I schooled in Naija and I got the value for my school fees.

• 800 companies shut down in Nigeria due to harsh and insecure operating environment.

~ Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) .

It's like that in several other countries and Nigeria's case is partly caused by the lack of maintenance culture exhibited by Nigerians. Most enterprenuers are not innovative and their business ideas are archaic We lack the zeal to make things work. We are always waiting for the government to spoon-feed us.

• 33 million Nigerians are jobless.
~ Dr. Yemi Kale, Statistician General of the Federation of the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

Go learn a trade or acquire a skill and get thou self-employed!!!!

Of course neither you nor your father will ever achieve what I even achieved for Nigeria at the age of 20 when I highhandedly sponsored the participation of Nigeria in two international book fairs in Tokyo, Japan or can you be a UNICEF national program consultant at 25. So shut up when your superior is talking.

Even the boss and godfather of your President Goodluck Jonathan said Nigeria was better under OBJ than now that GEJ is in charge.

I have already enumerated all the shortcomings and failures of GEJ's administration in several articles which none of his hired political sycophants could refute and again how come that illegal bunkers have been stealing more of our crude oil now that GEJ is in power than before as Nigeria is losing over $5 billion (N780 billion) yearly to crude oil thieves when GEJ's own self-appointed ex-militants have been paid millions of dollars to protect oil pipelines and other installations?

Did you know that Nigeria Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) said that Nigeria can end illegal bunkering of our stolen crude oil in 30 days if GEJ's security agencies stop being the accomplices and partners in crime with these notorious crude oil robbers?

Who were the sea pirates that killed Captain Romeo Itima, Managing Director of Global West Vessel Specialist Limited, an oil bunkering surveillance company owned by ex-militant leader, Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo who was contracted by the Federal Government to provide security and monitor the nation’s coastal waters against oil thieves?
How come ex-militants are now doing the job of the Nigerian Navy?[/size]
