Re: Invitation For Written Exams For Police ICT Professional Into Nigerian Police by efualwealth: 9:17am On Jun 19, 2013 |
The information reaching me is that the reason for the delay was unavailability of venue. So I guess all we need to do now is pray that the facility we need to use for the training should be ready as quickly as possible to enable us resume. Nigeria is known for last minute marathon approach if not we would not have waited this long . Let's keep calm and hope the best comes preety fast. |

Spoke with a friend who has got a brother in PSC. As at y'day, Okiro spoke with Police affairs minister and they both concluded that the ICT cadets doesn't have sufficient training facilities. Also Okiro is leaving the country to return most likely on July 1st...this is situation report Now I hvnt said July 1st isn't feasible, I haven't also said that our posting is suspended for whatever reasons.... Feel free to make your own deductions. That's what transpired ict cadets... |

kelvin2yk: Thanks Kelvin...but I don't recall saying that PSC provides venue and training facilities...I only told u what transpired btw PSC boss and our minister; in all entiety on their conversation , we lack all the needed facilities to train us. I honestly hope you come back with positive results. I just thot we shud be in camp doing other relevant trainings that don't require this "hi-tech-outta space gadget-coming from Jupiter" I tire bross |

2-05-09 PSC Assures Cadets ABUJA - The Police Service Commission assured, yesterday, that the results of candidates, who were interviewed for positions of Cadet Inspectors and Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police since 2007, would soon be made known and call up letters issued to successful candidates. Permanent Secretary of the commission, Mrs. E. B. Emuren who made the disclosure yesterday, explained that part of the reasons for the delay in the issuance of call up letters for successful candidates, was that the Police Colleges where they are to be trained were in sorry states and were undergoing rehabilitation. Her words: 'the attention of the PSC has been drawn to several appeals for the release of the results of candidates who were interviewed for the positions of Cadet Inspectors and Cadet Assistant Superintendents of Police since 2007". "The Commission wishes to state that the conclusion of the recruitment exercise and the immediate commencement of training for the successful candidates was one of its resolutions at its inaugural meeting of May 23rd, 2008. "Regrettably, the Commission had to put the exercise on hold when it was found that the Police Academy where the Cadets are expected to undergo training is in a poor state of disrepair". "It is the policy of the commission to inject into the Nigeria police force, decent and well trained policemen which can only be produced in habitable and decent training institutions". "The ministry of Police Affairs in collaboration with the IGP is already working hard to put the Police Colleges in good shape to receive the new intakes. Work has since commenced on the repair of the facilities in the Academy". Meanwhile, the Inspector General of Police, Mike Okiro has approved the schedule for the screening and interview of prospective candidates to fill certain specialist branches of the Police force. Towards this end, there will be physical screening exercise at all state Police commands in the federation from 25th to 30th May 2009. There will be interview for cadet inspectors and ASP's cadres in all Police zonal commands in the federation on 6th June 2009 and there will be final selection interview at FHQ, Abuja for Cadet Inspectors and ASP's on 24th to 26th June 2009 Written by Kingsley Omonobi Vanguard Tuesday, 12 May 2009 |

CHEERS (GIG) @geoingwags, Just spoken my mind . . . @erickajay, Our case is special and different . . . Federal Job used to take 6 months to 12 months to process. Nigeria,1999 is different from Nigeria,2000 So, Nigeria,2009 is not the same with Nigeria,2012 and Nigeria,2013 However, Its obvious now that the TRAINING LOGISTICS is the problem. Thats why PSC said Date and Venue for Training "in a later date" Not Approval of Successful Candidates' Name and Appointments, Not Appointment Letters, Not Salary, Not our non acceptance of the offer. PSC are just being THOROUGH AND METICULOUS. But I know we are still in probation throughout the training. . . I am suspecting the Foreign Training Arrangement may be another advance plan that cant be rushed into . . . GOODLUCK WILL ALWAYS END UP IN PATIENCE'S ARM, INSPITE OF ALL ODDS . . . I want us to relax . . . I want us to just believe that all is well . . . Whether now or later, I am okay with any of the above I LOVE YOU ALL, GREAT ICT CADETS. . . TODAY HAS NOT COME TO AN END |

PSC AND NPF were supposed to plan properly for this project. My brother THE PRESIDENT is not even interested in this ICT POLICE like you always say, because if he were truly interested tins wont be like this. ALL THIS THINGS HAPPENING IS AN EVIDENCE OF THE FACT THAT WE NEED CHANGE IN THIS COUNTRY, COS NOTTING IS TAKEN SERIOUSLY IN THIS COUNTRY BY THE PDP GOVERNMENT EXCEPT IT HAS TO DO WITH THEIR POLITICAL INTREST. I'M ALWAYS AN ADVOCATE OF CHANGE IN 2015. @ALL I DONT HAVE ANY CONCRETE INFO YET,BUT THE FINAL TRUTH IS THAT ALL THINGS ARE WORKING TOGETHER FOR OUR GOOD. 1 Like |
