cool318: I am from Imo State and equally have few family members in civil service and as retirees. I also have friends and classmates in civil service. All those that complain were part of anti-Rochas while those that are happy were pro-Rochas. The level of lies the anti-Rochas group tell is an insult to my sensibility hence I can never believe them. For example they claim there is no free education even when I have 5 relatives enjoying it in IMSU. I can only listen to either the neutral or pro-Rochas. Is it a coincidence that only my grand uncle is owed 9 months pension arrears out of many civil servants in my extended family? |

Abagworo: I disagree vehemently on the Anti- or Pro Rochas dichotomy Bullshit. In a Ministry, how are names compiled that they are now subjected to prejudice and biasness. I guess you are lacking valid points to put up in this my candid observation cos am on ground now and i can feed you with more Ministries that are being owed even when they voted for Rochas. 1 Like |

What an excuse!! Anti-Rochas group? But there is no election campaign going on. So what could breed some noticable anti-Rochas sentiments in Imo state if the governor is living up to his responsibilities? 1 Like |

This is why I say u are very senile old man. Your behaviours and thinking are senescent. Who are the "We", that you use in your statements? You and your multiple monikers? I pity you. This is why everybody is against you in this forum. Haven't you taken time to think about your life? Your kinda life is not worth living. Am really having a good time here laughing at your foolishness. Pls keep on making that man famous. Only a fool will deny himself just because of one riff raff called Chino and his multiple monikers. Am very straightforward that's why I use one pseudo name in all forums that I join to be unique. And yes I use Robert Chris as my false name in all faceless forum, well, if you used to search on Google thinking you can trace me with that, then sorry try harder next time, mayb your poor sense of reasoning will tell you how to get my real picture cos I only have igbo names and a prestigious surname which is igbo too. Am a hard core igbo and have never used any foreign name in real life. I wonder where you got all this your infantile pictures from. If not for security reasons, I would have uploaded my selfie here to prove to you that you are not upto my shoes. And nobody in your extended family or generations can achieve half of what I have achieved in life at my young age. You are lucky I don't really have spare time to tend to nuisance like you, I would have taken you to the muds. But then, enough of my epistle. And please post more pictures. Puerile!!! EASTSIDAZ: |

SMH for you. In your juvenile mind, you think you are right in assertions? Pls continue to live in the fool's paradise. The last thing I would want is to have my picture here, so can retarded people like you won't self-service over it. I will allow you to continue your miserable life. My level of education and yours are never the same cos you are just fortunate to have access to Internet courtesy of ur wife. I would have directed you to my LinkedIn but I won't want you to have access to my pictures cos you are a self-servicer. Maybe you would have known the person you are privileged to interact with. You should thank your stars for nairaland. And pls post more of that pictures. Many people here have complained that I should leave you alone that you are immature but I don't want you to mature though. Cos people like you are needed in a circus as clowns. EASTSIDAZ: |

House of Freeda Owerri: An Exposure House of Freeda, in their bid to build and maintain good relationship with stakeholders in the community they are operating, invites key members of the society to a special invite-only event called Sip & Shop. According to the management, this will be happening every Sunday evening at the mega shopping mall. They kicked it off yesterday by inviting media practitioners across the various media channels (radio, blog etc) and one of our own, Livinus Nwachukwu represented us. Below is a summary of his experience at the shopping mall and some pictures taken during the visit… Amazing, artistic, beautiful, cool, captivating, exquisite, impressive, magnificent, noble, splendid, soothing, subliminal, are some adjectives one would use to describe the latest Owerri mega shopping mall, House of Freeda. The mall, billed for launch soon is located at MCC-Uratta Road, opposite Graceland Medical Centre, is really a place to be for everyone- children, youths, men and women for shopping, lifestyle and luxury services and relaxation. The environment and feelings one get at the House of Freeda is that of nature, nurture and nicety. It has an impressive Lounge, large enough to contain more than twenty comfortably. The lounge is built to give one a homely and cool relaxation. There are also exquisite boutiques for all ages: children, gents and ladies. The wonderful thing about the boutique is that different wears, shoes, handbags and boxes for different needs- corporate, casual, formal- are in stock at considerable prices. Branding on shirts and caps are also available upon request. Located near the men’s boutique is an exquisite Unisex Barbing Saloon. It is cool and soothing, with competent hands on deck to give you desired haircut cum other hair services. The Laura Spa section is world class, subliminal and magnificent. It is beautifully decorated with international standard gadgets and accessories; and expatriates from Asia very much available to offer their traditional soothing spa services. Adjacent the Spa, is the Hair Saloon. The section is best described as ladies world. It is amazing and noble, offering all sorts of hairstyle, make-ups, pedicure and manicure. The Household shop is stocked with quality home affairs like bed spread, pillow, dolls, chandeliers and the likes. There is also a pharmacy store (yet to open) and a vacant shop for rent. On the outside is a Bar and Relaxation Spots. It is ideal for evening relaxation and semi-formal meetings. In fact, this area will give one a “picnic-holiday-like” feeling. For real, a first visit to House of Freeda, a walk around and a sure-bet, pleasant shopping experience would captivate one to exclaim “waoo!” So what are you waiting for? Why don’t you visit and be among the first to experience the world-class shopping experience. http://alaowerri.com/house-of-freeda-owerri-an-exposure/

Lol. I laugh at your infantile attitude. Nobody is disputing the fact that that's not my profile on that site. Yea, that's my moniker meezynetwork and please can you tell them also where you got those pictures from? Show it here to clarify. You are still a poor man that is enfeebled. Showing dirty boxers and hairy smelly body and captioning it how you row, shows the level of poverty you are in, without acknowledging it. Let me give you a tip, go to idumota or onitsha in ogboefere, electronics or main market and ask of the owner of Mazzor gas. Am a merchant and an intellect. An ICT expert. A Uniben product, hall 3 aro with two master degrees from two other prestigious Universities in the world. I just want to use this moniker to talk senses to you. I can't play your kinda juvenile game of posting random pictures with you. This is my last reply to you till further notice. My 1st problem with you was insulting a lot of people and calling them abakiliki. I can't never stand any swine belittling any part of igbo land not to talk of an illiterate like you doing that. No part of igbo land is better than the other. Smello!!! EASTSIDAZ: |

OSEMOTOR-ELU-IGBO MARINE UNIVERSITY : UNLOCKING ECONOMIC POTENTIALS OF IMO RIVERINE COMMUNITY Columns/Special Reports, Others image Pix 1: Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere listening to the Managing Director of ISOPADEC , Dr. Henry Okafor as he makes explanations during a tour of the site for International Marine University in Osemotor-Elu Igbo recently. image Pix2: Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere being welcome by HRH, Eze Francis Ihejiamatu Okafor when he arrived Osemotor-Elu Igbo for inspection of the site of proposed International Marine University and level of work done recently. Uche Onwuchekwa Atmosphere in Osemotor-Elu-Igbo naturally looks peaceful. Women and children are either seen working in their farms or paddling their canoe on the lake engaging in their traditional vocation of farming and fishing. Beyond farming and fishing, Osemotor has a rich history of Commerce during the time of colonial masters and after the attainment of Independence. The story is different in the present day Osemotor as it has become a shadow of itself. Emergence and intervention of Rescue Mission Government led by Owelle Rochas Okorocha, has in no little way rekindled the dashed hope of the people. This may explain the fanfare and warm welcome that greeted the arrival of the convoy of the number two citizen Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere. People of Osemotor could only betray their mind by the joy the displayed when Prince Eze Madumere paid an unscheduled visit to Osemotor-Elu Igbo with one mission in mind, which was to tour over 150 stretched hectares of proposed site for International Marine University. It will be recalled that when Governor Okorocha promised to liaise Korean Marine University and other relevant agencies to build Marine University in 2013 in Oguta following its natural endowment of aquatic features, it was received with accolades and words of encouragement. The government making real her promise expedited action and with Osemotor-Elu Igbo buying into this life changing project when they willingly donated their land to kick-start the project. Knowing that its decision was a right step in the right direction, Owelle Rochas Okorocha wasted no time in performing the Foundation Laying ceremony. True to his word, through the Imo State Oil Producing headed by Hon. Dr. Henry Okafor some work has been done. One could see the administrative block, which has reached the first slab stage. The foundations of the two massive hostels, with each having one hundred rooms, have been completed. However, other structures are at one stage or the other. Given the import of Marine studies, like Madumere observes that; it is an area that affects the very existence of human beings. . He opined that researches in that area affects the people’s socio-economic and political life given the import of marine life, water as a source of transportation and how best to preserve the living things in water, which are of immense economic importance. He also said that given the historical importance of the lake and its uniting features to other parts of the country, he said it is strategic and therefore the establishment of the University along the riverine area will definitely make a potent investment. Marine University will definitely bring about desired investment in the area of shipping management, Port Management, Maritime Safety and Environmental Administration, Maritime Law and Policy and of course training in other more technical area like Ship building, maintenance and recycling of ships. Going on memory lane, Dr. Henry Okafor, the Managing Director said Osemotor was never the original name of the place but called Elu-Igbo. He narrated that the Elu-Igbo used to be a hub for Igbos from various parts of the old Eastern region. He said it had mini port where Liverpool and other western companies lifted farm produce and other raw materials to trans-load to a bigger ship for transportation to the Europe and other parts of the globe. He revealed that it was the activities around the area with high traffic of vehicular movements. And since Elu-Igbo, which is at the bank of the Lake became a park of sort for transporters; hence people started calling it Osemotor, which means Motor Park. He said ever since people have preferred to call their place Osemotor rather than Elu-Igbo – its original name. Hon. Henry recalled that between Obasanjo and Jonathan’s administration, efforts to resuscitate the Port at Elu-Igbo was abandoned for political reason while the Naval Base is yet to get off ground. He therefore used to opportunity to appeal to the Governor of Imo State through his Deputy, Prince Eze Madumere to remind President Buhari of the import of the two major establishments in the area, which he said will to a large extent yield economic dividends to both the State and Federal Government. Speaking further, he said if the proposed International Marine University is completed, it will be the First of its kind in Africa; he therefore commended Governor for embarking on such a legacy project, which will forever in the heart of the people. He thanked Imo State Deputy Governor for taking time with the Permanent Secretaries of the relevant Ministries for a proper stock taking for necessary action. We had Mr. George Eche from the Ministry of Works and Transport. We had Dr. Ekeanyanwu and Mr. Okoro from Ministries of Tertiary Education and Housing respectively. Receiving Prince Eze Madumere, HRH, Eze Francis Ihejiamatu Okafor, showered encomium on Prince Eze Madumere for being epitome of humility and exemplary leadership. He however observed that he is so happy that his coming was unsolicited by the people, which shows government’s interest in the development of their uplace. http://dailyreviewonline.com.ng/2015/09/08/osemotor-elu-igbo-marine-university-unlocking-economic-potentials-of-imo-riverine-community/#.VoLaFlLlYsY 1 Like |
