You keep proving you are jobless and hopeless. How can an able bodied man be going to work by 11am? Are you talking to dunces? Can;t you see we have seen through you that you are a mere house-keeper. I pity your parents, more especially your poor old mother. cheesy

I was in Ogboko some weeks ago and was highly impressed. Propaganda cannot change that.

What does your visit to Ogboko suggest to you?

As Okorocha tarred most of the streets in Ogboko, but left a larger population of people in nearby Orlu breathe four years of dust from abandoned road works, wetin concern Okorocha ba?

A Chinese company called Skyrun has commenced
production of pre-paid meters, cables and various
categories of electronic appliances in Imo state.
The company had earlier signed an MoU with the Imo state
government and has taken over the premises of Rasin
paints company at Aboh Mbaise for the production of
electronics and electrical materials.

The state Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha disclosed this
when a delegation of Chinese investors called on him at the
Government House, Owerri today. The governor stated that
he recently visited China on Skyrun’s invitation and
expressed happiness that the visit has started yielding
results as the company has already started with the
production of pre-paid meters, cables, TV etc at the Rasin
Paints premises at Aboh Mbaise.

Governor Okorocha thanked the Chinese delegation for
choosing Imo state for investment, promising that the state
will give them all the necessary assistance needed.
He said, “we shall support you, encourage you and provide
all you need to make your investment programme
easy. He continued “while you try to make profits from
your investments, we implore you to create jobs for our
teeming youths who will be ready and willing to protect
your investment.”

The governor promised that the government will help any
company willing to invest with fast-tracking the process of
registration, immigration, customs, offices,
accommodation, transportation etc. He enjoined the
Chinese companies to take advantage of the incentives and
invest in the state.

He equally reminded the investors that Imo state has the
highest deposit of gas in the country and this he said has
made the Imo industrial park an ideal place to invest in. He
called on them to partner with the state for establishment of
fertilizer plant and petro-chemical industries.
Earlier, the leader of the group and the general manager of
Skyrun, Mr. Guxin, stated that Skyrun is a state-owned
Chinese company that has interest in investing in the state
in the areas of oil, gas, electronics and electrical
equipment.

He pointed out that the company has already started the
production of pre-paid meters, cables, electronics etc in
the state and will soon commence work on the Imo/Skyrun
refinery which an MoU has already been signed with the
Imo state government.

Mr. Guxin thanked governor Okorocha for his genuine
intention to develop the state which necessitated his
coming to China to woo investors. He promised that
Skyrun and its associates will soon take over the business
landscape of the state and create jobs for the teeming
youths of the state.

I agree. This is the part where Rare diamonds is needed. A new thread that showcases the beauty of Imo state, it's people, culture and investment potentials is surely needed. Not this one that has become a play ground for one psychiatric excapee and some paid political boys.
I would have opened one myself just like Spyder of the Enugu thread, but it would be devoid of contents since am not home base.

I find rochas submission about Imo palm plantation in this interview suspect

http://thenationonlineng.net/i-ll-transform-imo-before-i-leave/

Saying that concessioning of Imo palm plantation is successful when the opposite seams to be the case with Roche group fiasco..unless he is saying that the pz discussion was successful but there has not being any news on that

By the way this news is ridiculous

Why are you so bitter, pained and jealous of your Imo State brothers? Your intent on this forum and elsewbere has been clear as day alongside your cohorts whom I encounter daily in life. The whole issue is centered on Igbo leadership and why Rochas Okorocha must be stopped and an Anambra man projected instead. It is not out of place politically to compete but bare it in mind that Imo State is bigger than Rochas Okorocha and his stay there expires 2019. So why attack Imo State instead of the man Rochas?

You people attacked Abia State in order to boost trade in your State by damaging the image of Aba using propaganda and false information. You succeeded because Abians could not understand the game. I can assure you well that it won't work in Imo as long as intelligent people like me know the game. Keep messing around.

They did not succeed. We know the game too. Was I not the 1st person that reveal their tactic on NL.

That's Nworie Layout not Area "U". Let us wait and see what it is eventually labeled. I like that type of highrise not the regular Igbo patterned buildings.
