It seems Abagworo my senior brother, didn't travel to IMO state this year.
Abagworo i miss your pictorial updates

True that bro,

I equally would have done more, but still having a swell time in warri, must say they are quite hospitable and warm.

Nonetheless,I'm gonna share some aerial pics ,courtesy of dikendike,

Complements of the season everyone.

Come on, let's put sentiments aside (didn't mean this as an insult).

Citing the general hospitals the way he did is a GREAT idea. Even Lagos has such general hospitals in several parts of the state, that's aside LASUTH (state owned) at Ikeja, and LUTH (not state owned)

Imo state's teaching hospital can't handle all cases of illnesses in the state. What about the deaths that'll occur while transferring patients from several local governments to the hospitals... Will the facilities provided and medical personnels there be able to handle the huge cases?

That's why I feel he did a great job with the hospitals, let Ihedioha put pride aside n complete them.

B2mario, thanks for your question to him

You call those things Rochas built General.Hospitals? Have you taken out time to visit just one of the 27?
Don't believe every story you read online.

Far back 2016, I told Abagworo the PR of Rochas Okorocha on this thread that his reign on this thread would end in 2019 when Imo state would have removed Okorocha crowd from power, without Okorocha anointing a successor.

As Okorocha made Owerri and his village Ogboko to look like only places in Imo state, Abagworo hardly knew that Owerri is not the only place in Imo state, as he kept on and on posting those now abandoned edifices of Okorocha in Owerri, and was telling us 'Imo state is developing.'

Disambiguating this project gonna be tasking,not really my line ,but what I can deduce however;

ANOH-=ASSA NORTH+OHAJI SOUTH,(AGPC) Involving shell oml21 + seplat oml 53,

This projects have been in the plans in the last 12 years, and is one of the seven critical gas projects of FG,

Increase in power production gonna be spurred with a boost in gas production hence increasing sustainable supply of gas to meet domestic gas demand, forecast have shown that conventional diesel off-grid power generation is expected to be displaced via a gradualist approach.

Gotta be futuristic, gas is the future, and seplat having realized this earlier came into the picture 3years ago ,having a dual listing in nigerian stock and London stock exchanges market capitalisation got her prepared to venture into power generation infrastructure,
The aim is to Delink the commodity from the volatility of fluctuating oil prices considering the delays and catch ups solely shifting from diesel generated to gas generated source.

From my observation, seems two gas plants will be developed for the products of LPG & condensate. 1st for the shell jv,2nd for the seplat jv special purpose vehicle construct

It is a midstream plant developed onshore gas reserves of ANOH out of subsurface,

equity phase of financing done with both side securing tranches of funds, whole of it is worth $700m,

1st delivery of domestic gas is expected at the tail end of Q1 2021.

All things being equal.seplat already respondible for 30-35% supply of gas to the domestic market,
So practically, well positioned to take on the project head on,coupled with her wealth of experience in oben project.

Multiplier effects,$700m gonna trickle down to local contractors, equipment suppliers, truck loaders,off-takers,fabricators,close to 90hecters of land ,corporate social responsibilty projects/services, increase in power, more productivity, industrial growth etc

its unfortunate that a state like anambra with much touted rich and wealthy people. The state govt doesn't tap into the huge revenue potentials. pursuing wheel barrow pushers and drivers for levy won't drive an economy growth.

Why your useless Imo state has nothing to offer its people. All your useless Imo government does is chase prostitutes for tax. Why can't Imo state development
industrial master plan to employ your people and expand revenue. 2/3rd of population of Imo state are ran to Anambra for greener pasture.

Anambra is ranked number 16 in GDP while Lagos, Rivers, Delta, Oyo and IMO completes the first five richest States by GDP growth

Imo state is a very poor useless and worthless state.

Look at the official GDP released by NBS this year. Anambra is among the top 5 best performing states in Nigeria alongside Lagos, Abuja, Rivers, Kano.

What's there in your worthless Imo state that can grow your GDP? Is it the commercial sex hawking which is anyway the economic main stay of Imo state?

Anambra is the SE leader shocked

I am presently in the East. My journey for this yuletide season started from spending a day at AWKA in a hotel at Unizik axis to having a nice time with my kid brother who lives at Enugu then to my Villa in Orlu.

I visited Owerri and stayed for three days. I was amazed at the development I saw at Owerri and honestly I nearly lost my way. I must say Rochas did a good job.

Coming to my Villa at Okporo Orlu, I must commend Rochas again for the market he constructed and the tarred road that passed through my home.

However, I am not happy seeing abandoned projects especially in Orlu. From hospitals to schools and the stadium. All abandoned!! I dunno how Ihedioha plans to continue what Rochas abandoned.

Something needs to be done about the abandoned projects littered everywhere.

That is wat we mean by Iberiberism.

He wasted Orlu mandate on Owerri, wen he got power from Onye-Owerri and will hand power to Onye-Owerri.

That was Orlu chance to start looking like the second City in Imo State, and even attract investment.

Rather, he focused on Owerri.
