People thought we were going to fall off without pep, Why would we, Pep didn't create total football, The Philosophy has been around for ages and previously used by Barca Clubs before. Pep was Just a Guy in a Suit. Anybody could have managed that Barca Team Martin Lawrence ,E-40 and Charley Boy could have managed that Barca team, and we would have still had the same success. Damn. That was so cruel and harsh on Celtic, conceding in the very last minute  Anyways, Neil Lennon wasn't really expecting any points from the double-header against Barca. Kudos to the Hoops though. Forster and Efe Ambrose were men of the match. |

Pep came and revived the true art of TOTAL FOOTBALL. The reason Barca's defence looks weak is because they can't hold the ball the way they did under Pep. ~Royal~: Credit should go to who Deserves it Guadiola Assembled the present Crop of Players. He learnt the Philosophy but also had a Vision of a Team to Execute that Philosophy, He has set a Standard that would be difficult for any other Coach to Surpass, even with the same crop of Players. Pep was the master tactician that was the brain behind the way the team played and won so many things while doing that, and to the joy of the club and her large fan base. He wasn't just the guy in suit.  Of course, the total football pattern has been a mark of the club, as evidenced in the La Masia creche, but it takes a brilliant mind to get that going in the players. A philosopher of sort to relate the thoughts of imagination with reality. Come to think of it, the widely touted trio of Xavi, Messi and Iniesta were average squad players before his arrival. Same with Pique, Puyol, Busquets and many more members of the squad. Don't get me wrong, they were raw talents back then, but Pep polished them up and made them stars, just about the same way Arsene Wenger discovers kindergarten pupils, raw in their pure state of nature and nurtures them to true talent. Pep was a club icon before he became coach. He was the captain of the team when the club won the '92 champs league and the 94 team that lost the finals to Milan. So, don't go on saying the likes of comedian Martin lawrence, actor Denzel Washington or the late Sadam Hussein can excel when put in the same shoe as was Pep. Show some respect and fan loyalty to the legendary Pep, bro. Credit be given to him. And he wasnt a coward jst as some persons within the cyber circle would want you believing. he was a leader who knew when to retreat and fire up his arsenal and command. Just be still to watch him bounce back next year, and whichever club he eventually settles for, I hope not Chelsea sha; he'll continue to rake in success upon success. That is Pep for you.
