I have been watching tv series for the past 8yrs now ,never have I been so hooked ,all thanks to this tv series titled "breaking bad". I bought this series over a year ago and was finding it a bit difficult to watch it cuz I felt I will be bored along the way, not until last month that I was going through some of my movies collection and I came across it, due to a was always at home at that time cuz i was down with typhoid and malaria, After much contemplation I decided to watch it, it started a bit boring but frm the second to last episode and frm season two upwards was" Da bomb".what makes this series unique is the story line,camera position and superb acting skills showcased by all the cast. When I googled the movie I saw that it has one of the highest rating ever for a tv series( if not the highest) season 1 was scored 74/100,the second season scored 85/100, the third season scored 89/100, the fourth season scored 96/100 and the fifth season so far has been rated 99/100 as of October 2012. It has been praised by some critics as the greatest television drama of all time. Go grab ur copy and I assure u that it will be one of ur best experience ever on a tv screen.

I have seen The Sopranos, The Wire, Oz, Dexter(still ongoing). I am very cautious about the tv series I watch and believe me Breaking Bad is really really good. I have also seen some others but I don't rank them very high e.g Prison Break(I stopped at the end of S2, it became somehow), 24(making Jack bauer appear like a super soldier and his hypocritical statements).

Just concluded the last episode of breaking bad season five,so sad I have to wait till april 2013 for the concluding part..

brother am a movie critic , when a movie is childish I knw, when a movie is good I knw. breaking bad have no comparison ,its something new,its fresh.... The directors and the actors took steps that no one ever expected them to take , the movie its unpredictable u never knw what's happening next and it keeps u in suspense.

No offence bro but only The Wire come close to breaking bad from your list, though Game of thrones is trailing that line,other shows are just good or merely ok.

that's true, I would appreciate if u would introduce me to a good tv series, cuz am tired of trial and error

i watch way too much tv though but only breaking bad,homeland,dexter,game of thrones,trueblood and walking dead that i take seriously. suits,Nikita, Sons of Anarchy and Big bang theory are nice too.
i still watch the vampire diaries cus i started during my late teens and all that.

i haven't watched it tho but i've heard great things about 'Broadwalk empire'
