Despite the criticism, I quite agree with this viewpoint. You are also human and a citizen of Nigeria. What have you done before pointing fingers ?

and don't you think clebrities (so called) are in a bit of conundrum when it comes to charity ? Must everybody make noise and inform ambrosini593 after they've donated for a charitable cause.

If giving is done in the open - it is show off.
If it is done in secret, - the person is seen as selfish because no one know about what he/she has done

I'm pretty sure M.I's gonna write a song for them. Btw b4 you ask the celebs to search their souls why don't you do a bit of soul searching yourself? We're all humans. Nothing's too little.

Our celebrity sang for Haiti earth quake victims... What have they done for their own people? Isn't it awkward?

I know for a fact that Stella Damascus through her NGO, Stella Damasus Art Foundation, is partnering with Wazobia FM and Cool FM by asking for donations for victims of the flood disaster. A VI address in Lag was given as drop off points for Food items, clothing items etc. Specifically, it was stated that Cash gifts will NOT be accepted. So while many may not yet be living up to expectations (and I am not condoning their actions or in this case, in-actions), a few celebs are trying to make a difference.

Some people r hurting so bad,
U have to do more than preach a message to them.
U have to BE a message to them.

It must not be cash or food. People in the camps need medical attention. If you're a doctor or nurse, you can volunteer to help with ur services.
