I totally understand what your saying, I've been there before, a guy who looked good on paper, was nice, caring, responsible, respectful etc, he ticked all boxes except chemistry. I began seeing him precisely because I had no reason not to and he was a good man. Sadly, I found that was not enough, there is such a thing as the X factor, its irrational I know, but its that secret ingredient to relationships. Someone can tick all the boxes, yet someone/thing else can still hold your heart somehow.
