Hello everyone. My mum wants to travel to France, with some time to spend in Germany, although France is her main destination. If she applies for a Schengen visa through France would they structure it according to the time she’s spending or they would issue the visa normally and then she can move freely within the Schengen region? Thanks in advance. She’s also a frequent traveler to the UK, would that help? |

If she shares her itinerary across France and Germany they will issue the visa according to her plans. Sometimes they are nice and can issue you more than you asked for. Yes, being a frequent visitor to the UK is helpful. deuoessch: |

Hello guys, I filled my France visa application form online my departure date is 1 August, I was told to make an appointment with the “FSA” but there are no appointment dates available till 27 July and 8 August in Lagos.. I don’t know if I should go there without an appointment.. I live in Benin I don’t want to risk traveling to Lagos or Abuja just to be ignored please what else can I do? |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Nchabuomo: 9:00am On Jun 19, 2022 |
Apriltreasure: Change your travel date. If you have already submitted, then fill out a new form. If you really don't want to shift your trip then use an embassy approved agent; they can get an earlier date for you. |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by austino677(m): 12:24pm On Jun 19, 2022 |
Nchabuomo:embassy approved agent? Lol |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Nchabuomo: 12:35pm On Jun 19, 2022 |
austino677: Yes, there are embassy-approved agents or should I say visa application, centre-approved agents, and they can get earlier dates for appointments. For example, my first ever Schengen visa was for a class trip to France; I could not get an appointment date; I reached out to the embassy, and they shared a list of travel agents through which I could apply. I have at least witnessed this in London and Ankara. They are agents that the VAC at least recognises, and they can get earlier dates and submit applications on behalf of applicants. P.S So I just checked my email and found the initial email I got. It's actually from the VAC, and it clearly states that the embassy accredits the agents.

Nchabuomo: Good to know. Does this apply to applicants from Nigeria? I can see that the accredited agents are for London |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by HRprof: 1:24pm On Jun 19, 2022 |
Nchabuomo:TLs is different from VFS The list you got is for visa application outside Nigeria and is for premium appointment even here in Nigeria you can get an early visa appointment for UK visa by yourself on Premium without agent because you have to pay for it. I do not think France have a premium visa appointment for early date so no agent here is accredited for it. |
