I think its too high and the tuning needs to be readjusted, mind usually kick to 1000rpm at cranking but then idles down to 600 or 700rpm, my neighbours w203 c200 kompressor cranks at about 800rpm but idles to 400rpm but kick to 600rpm when engaged with ac, and his w202 c220 does same too though i'm still yet to understand such dynamics , maybe there's an ac module that does that, who knows?
saw a video on youtube about the W202 C230K holding up its gears till higher revs to enable the engine warm up especially on cold morning. So maybe that's y its starts with higher revs to get it to full operational tempt quicker. Pls its jst my thought ooh. Pls need ur advice on my A/C. Lately in stop and go traffic it seems 2 warm up a-bit, like its jst normal fan air blowing but on normal cruise the cold can somtimes be unbearable, what cld be wrong?

Logically, it sounds more like it. For your ac, i think your gas is running less,it might need a refilling soon. Check for leaks and also tightened the ends of hoses that terminate to the ac compressor and the condenser, they could have slackened too

check the black casing behind the throttle body/actuator it has a plug and socket connection to the harness wire.

I believe you are talking about the ac load in this context, yes i know is normal because his are factory fitted acs, no one tampers with them.

Where is this compensator for rpm located in case one may one to replace it? I like the feeling in his own car unlike a 4 cylinder engine, ac or no ac you dnt feel any load with your driving dynamics. It impresses me a lot because even in 4 cylinder Jap cars you must feel that slight presence of an ac load but his is quite different, you dnt feel the load at all.

Gee2728: you rly have 2 feel bad, I do get 135mile on 30liters of fuel and still complain a lot about it. Infact lately I drive my car on winter mode all through as long as am not on a trip.

I changed the airfilter first thing this morning and did a lot of walker about , hits 63.7 miles today with 14.43 litres of fuel and achieved 16.7MPG(if i were to use uk gallons, i would hav had 21MPG). I have also bought a new exhaust pipe which am gonna change tomorrow first thing, and observe it again over the week

The filter and the lacquer thinner of that first day did the magic, the handling is awesome now than ever. From all these indication, i can derive that my car was really bad at terrible hold-ups but good at free traffic and freeways, but today she is also good at terrible hold up too. I am expecting a better performance after i would have changed the exhaust tommorrow to brand new oem exhaust(with its catalytic converters in place). i am greatful to this thread ,else i wouldnt have known the situation of my car mpg, hurray to you guys! Thanks to you all

That's still 102.5kilometres! Poor in my opinion ...I get 10 kilometers to a liter. Hence 14 liters would have given me a fixed 140 kilometers! That's 87 miles!

sad but most likely you have a low pumping compressor which is assisted by a faster running engine. Provided you AC fans and condenser are working fine!

it's lacquer thinner:

Folks use it for spraying too

From my very good trusted spare parts dealer. He sells only oem new parts . I have even mounted the exhaust this morning, it wasn't an easy task but not insurmountable. I equally bought brand new(no after market) axle thyroid from him too, cos i wanna whoop my ass anyhow when next i enter the freeway

My Gee, this mpg think , "me and am go wear one leg of trouser"

What about it?

I don't see anything in your picture to do with your car's mpg.
