If NLC strike goes on to that date, be sure of a 2024 adjournment date
Apart from the NLC strike, what if the court hearing isn't concluded that day but adjourned like it was done the last time, how will the market likely react?

I am very sad. I lost a lot of money in Oando. I cannot sell my shares. I have a big problem. Don't misunderstand me. I started investing in stocks this year. I bought Japaul Gold, Transcorp, and Dangote Sugar. I doubled my money every time. My 4 million naira became 32 million naira. But now I cannot withdraw even 1 million naira. This is my life savings. I saved this money for six years. Please, what can I do? Ncha na acho e ba efi n'anya.

Can you hammer through diversification?

Consistency of returns, is more important than a one off huge return that can turn to loss

This is the major reason why I don't subscribe to buying non dividend paying equities!

When you can't sell, there is no dividend to compensate for your inability to sell!!

Let assume you bought either of Fidelity bank ,Access bank ,Uba , Zenith bank , GTBank or even Stanbic IBTC Bank you would be entitled to around N3,000,000 dividend every year and you can easily sell the shares any time you like!!!

Good morning the gurus in the house, kindly help clarify the below issues.

This bids and offers on the brokerage apps during trading period, is It peculiar to the investors that are trading through a particular brokers or it's for the whole investors irrespective of your brokers?

Kindly help share a website that is best for that if there is any.

Kindly help share the website the financials and other Nigerian companies data can be gotten easily, it has been a very tedious job for me to fetch this data.

I also noticed that each of the websites reports different dividend yields for the same companies, what is likely the issue?

Thanks.

1. The bids and offers are the information about all participating investors in the market, and so they are not from particular brokers.

2. You can check this page as frequently as you can. Financial reports are uploaded as released.

Some websites such as Nairametrics do compile reliable summaries of important figures such as dividends information and a little more.

Dangote foods was discussed consistently for many pages, so were Transcorp, First bank, many others. Let's allow people learn from what relates to their situation or interests. These conversations keep the forum alive.

This now depends on their internal processes. Some are more efficient than others.
It's advisable to make withdrawal request early morning so it can be processed with the early batches.

Gas is now 1k / kg and crude oil 95$/ b.[after going as high as 97]

On a good day we should have been talking about mega money for seplat and the likes. But Nigerian companies cannot be trusted. The more you see the less you understand.
As oil prices increase so will their craftiness in manufacturing huge operational expenses and so on.

This would have been a good time for Transcorp O&G to come onstream. I wonder what's holding them? Leaving only Transcorp power to do the heavy lifting.
