The letter clearly stated that it's shares based on private arrangement to acquire 100% in a company and another 40% in another company, so the ordinary shares will increase ebuka1997: 5 Likes |

Seems that apart from the proposed N17.42, there's still additional money coming to the shareholders of GSK in the first quarter of 2024 or am I not understanding the scheme document well? |

yMcy56: The only thing that can explain a FBNH price beyond N20.00 is a bonus. Can’t see them paying N2.00 dividend. And, even if the are to pay a dividend of say N2.00, the information will not be known yet by big money before the end of Q4.However, the need to widen the base may have already been raised about now. But I could be wrong. Probably makes a lot of sense for the big banks and a bellwether of what is to come. I am only speculating. |

essentialone: From the way Wale spoke. I think Oando will rather remain public. As being public has it's benefits. I think the wahala shareholders have left. But they need to close out the issue properly and have for the records that minority shareholders have a thumbs up for the company to remain public. Just a personal take. This thought may be wrong or right. Time will tell. 2 Likes |

aj8:Even when FBNH paid 0.50k as dividend, the share price was trading ahead of ACCESS/UBA... The forces behind the rally seems like it's beyond dividends we can see or we are seeing, and don't forget the billionaires are still on it's case...... Anyway, I'm also statiing my personal opinion here..... Lets be watching what those big guys are up to. |

Princkez:You for allow the elders talk o. ........but I think it's positive news for the banks.....more money if I get it right. They can now make more deposit with CBN from their extra cash and earn interest on it in the process.... I dey come make I go read am well..... ** I think it was the heading that was a bit misleading........ Going by the article, there's no more limit to the excess cash that banks can deposit with CBN through the SDF account........and earn interest on it. That's extra money for the banks. * Lets hope CBN won't come up with another policy or story again once their eyes starts entering the excess cash. 2 Likes |
