Mpeace: Those who may be interested in Oando shares should take note of the following: a. Production volume in 2022 was about 26,000 boepd. b. Production volume in 2024 is currently about 40,000 boepd (i.e. 50% higher than 2022). This is projected to reach 50,000boepd by close of 2024 and early 2025. c. Consider the increase in volume and dollar rate between 2022 and 2024, and the potential impact on 2024 turnover and profits. d. 2024 revenues and receivables are mostly in USD, so there will be little or no exchange losses e. 2023 is already past; the audited results is likely to be a loss, as stated in the 2022 audited accounts. f. 2024 would likely see a big jump in profits due to higher production volumes and mostly $ denominated revenues. Bottom Line: Oando may be a big gamble for now, so be guided and be cautious! However, if the coast clears after the court ruling on June 24 and Oando does not delist, some guys would cash out big time! Weigh your options and take a dive! 2 Likes |

Bros, unless I am reading this wrongly, June 24 court case, does not really do much to bring this issue to a reasonable conclusion, asides from allowing certain shareholders be joined to the petition. See below extract from Oando notification: "The adjournment to June 24, 2024, is for the Court to rule on the pending applications brought before it by certain shareholders seeking to be joined to the Petition and challenging the Court’s order dated June 7, 2022, which among other orders, directed the Company to file its Scheme of Arrangement document (the “Scheme Document”) with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the NGX within 30 days. " Lawyers in the house, any opinion? mikeapollo: 1 Like |

Good afternoon, grateful if anyone with previous experience can break the FCMB dividend reinvestment program down in simper terms. Thank you. "If you proceed with the dividend reinvestment program and use the principal amount to purchase FCMB Group Plc. shares when they are listed later this year, your principal will accrue a total interest rate of 25%. For clarity on the interest computation on your deposit, please note the following: Deposit Interest: You will receive a fixed interest rate of 10% from the start date of your investment until the liquidation date With Shares: You will receive an additional interest of 15% on your deposit from the start date until the liquidation date if you opt to invest in FCMB Group Plc. shares when the offer is opened. Thus, you will earn a total of 25% on your deposit when converted to FCMB Group Plc. shares. All interest payments are subject to withholding tax or other taxes as prescribed by the laws of the country. Please note that the additional interest of 15% will only be paid if and when the principal amount is used to purchase the FCMB Group shares." |

beejay1: You may be right, though. I am not very particular about the technicality involved in the case for June 24. But if the delisting does not take place, Oando may be stocks to watch out for. |

BabsO2:Is the FPI not paid directly in dollars. How is it shrinking |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by BabsO2(m): 6:12pm On May 31 |
Streetinvestor2: You're kidding 10 years back a big pot FPI used to collecting + $1,000,000 would have seen it shrinking to $800,000 up to last year and $200,000 this year for the final dividend. Increasing NGN dividend paid, compensated somewhat for devaluation up to last year. But this year nah. |

It will probably break #20 naira within the next 2 weeks. However, their Unaudited result has so many things hidden within it. It looks like they made an EPS of #6, but within the report I see many flags that require further explanation. Streetinvestor2: |
