You see why I see opportunity in it.It is no longer business for everyone which made the selling of the egg sometimes difficult. People are even going around to look for whr to buy in farm because many are now into broiler for 5 weeks to sell
Hope you'll consider other input factors as well.

Input------ process--------Output

Dont just look at N300 per egg and thought, "Oh see money" 😊
Two of the most expensive animals to rear and manage are pigs and poultry.
Carry out extensive research, get adequate training and enough info before you venture into it.

No this is not new, the market has responded to this already. So maybe it's priced in already or not #dyor. One thing is for sure, something is happening here and it is not this result neither is it ExploMa....

Remember Oando.....

Person talk say he was brought up by a father with good background in agriculture but couldn't see presco before many see it and bought it at premium.

The same person is being lecture by someone that never claimed to have agricultural background...

Osita abeg stop encouraging this man on this agric business he would think you are marketing him..

Like I said, ellahlakes will shock even the people in the bus when the food is done cooking..

When u were waiting for numbers people bought the same presco for 5 naira and still hold till today..

Buffet said before you buy a stock ask yourself what do you think will make the price go up?
And I said u will be able to answer this correctly only if you understand the business behind the stock and visualize the numbers before they become the actual numbers, osita just helped you with little numbers..

When buffet bought Coca-Cola, where are the numbers that supported him buying it in the public space?

It's same result. The old result has a tiny minus sign before it and it confused many people as one would be expecting an open and closed bracket to signify a loss. So many thought it was a gain because the minus sign is not conventional reporting.

You are still better than me. I bought large volume of the stock with 80% of my trading account. My investment in Oando couldn't offset the loss I recorded in Dangsugar.

That is actually the usual trend. Anything to the contrary would have been rather surprising

Sorry for the loss, that is capital market. You lose some, you win some. Just have a strategy for your investment policy. Define your loss tolerance level and profit taking level. I bought 120k units of BUACEMENT @ N180, I couldn't sell at a loss for almost 4 months because it was always on full offer, I ended up selling it at 140, 120 and 102, but i recovered the loss within few weeks with FBN, Japaul, Jaiz, and ELLAHLAKES. I will advise you to exit and position elsewhere.

Exiting ALHAJI PRODUCTS isn't the best advise if he is a long term trader/investor

Those who bought into Alhaji should have known that they are buying long term.

Patience is a virtue

One of the demerits of allocating...
large percentage of trading acct to a single stock ....
Its either a straight miss or classic hit...

ok.it is now capital intensive if no mortality. You will transfer the cost still to consumer. Why I never fanced it before because sometimes you will still be looking for the market for the eggs but now the story has changed. People dey look for the egg to buy. Then you go see person with 2M or less dey all do the business
Na feed dey like 27k a bag making many close shop

Agriculture on paper is different from the real practice.
There is money to be made in agriculture but money could also be lost.
It is a very challenging terrain.

Yeah you got the drift. I was looking for mega hit grin grin grin Although I exited 60% of my total holding in July which I invested in money market. I will terminate the investment by next week, and I will bring back the money into stock market.

Yes you are right but I don't plan to lose.I will not be greedy as I go in.I will own the land and good security as per cctv. Then go in gradually. I have business experience and not office person. My only concern is sickness part of the bird. I had many friends into the poultry business in kd while I maintained in my crop farming, storage and marketing/supply to open market and beer guys

I personally believe that the best plays are found by not rushing to find the next best thing since sliced bread. I wait patiently, do my homework, and when the stars align and the information is solid, I bet heavy—sometimes even a significant portion of my net worth. Right now, 90% of my trading account is riding on Aradel, Seplat, Total, and JB. With each of them already returning over 200%. Patience and conviction wins the game.

Earlier today, I took that ₦1M challenge (Although I only committed 650k), and put it all on Fidelity! No idea they were going to drop their results today. Now I'll let the market do it's thing

Great.
And something tells me Total is not done yet.
Q3 of many stocks will actually clear things.
