UNIZIK Awka UniSTRESS- Named after the school due to the stress students pass in shuttling from temp site to perm site before the whole faculty moved to perm site Wilderness or Boys high school- Faculty of Engineering, was named wilderness cos d faculty was isolated from the rest during the inception of the perm site building. Boys high school for the fact that most engineering departments have only guys without a single female eg mechanical engineering and MME Bakassi- faculty of management science mgbo or bullet- expo Ndi mgbu - Anti cult squad |

In my alma, UNN nsukka, we use slangs like; TIDY - When sometin is done extraordinarily good/bad EFCC - When the result or class performance is so bad. JONSER - When u are a foolish joker ZUOO - When ur insane CHAO - U wanna go eat. TANKER - A sexy girl (as they say) BELLOSHIP - Going 2 a female hostel 2 see a chick. MATERIAL - School or academics books/handoup HOW MUCH - When someone shows up 2 advertise his product. LION - Our school's nick name, etc. |

FUNAAB... "La Cram la pour" : a pseudo-french slang for d attitude of students towards reading wen its time 4 tests especially. It simply means u are cramming only to pour d contents down on d day of exam.
