HOW TO CALCULATE YOUR COMPOSITE:
Your jamb score is divided by 8.
Your o'levels(5 subjects u put in ur p.ume application
form) grades are rated as
A1- 6
B2- 5
B3- 4
C4- 3
C5:- 2
C6- 1.
They are all added together and then multiplied by
2/3.
Your post ume score is multiplied by 0.3.
Lets take for instance AKPORS a Science student who
scored 180 in jamb.
Dividing 180 by 8= 22.5 .
O'levls grade:
Eng B2-5, Maths B3-4, Bio A1-6,Chem C4-3, Physics-
B3- 4. All together 22,multiplied by 2/3= 14.7
post ume:
He had52, 52 multiplied by 0.3= 15.6
His composites will be 22.5 +14.7 + 15.6= 52.8.
He has a very gud chance of being admitted, because he
had a composite score that is upto 50%.

Imagine if 15000 candidates have that and 6000 have below and 5000 candidates have above, what do u think will happen?

Anyway, not all merit will be admitted according to JAMB directive. Can't recollect properly, 45% for FG Uni and 40% for SG Uni.

You can still make it, provided FUNAAB is ur first choice, Math ain't that competitive.

Since math is ur choice, u will first be considered before those that didn't choose the course.
