Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Nottingham, Newcastle etc. are also big cities in England - and they're far better than Manhattan-less New York!!

As for New York, Brooklyn is a shytehole, Bronx is the forgotten city(the yankees are the only thing keeping it alive), Queens is ridden with massive project houses and thugs, and Staten Island is a 3rd world country!! Without Manhattan - New York is definitely another Detroit!!
