It depends. You are right however to dump and unproductive lady before marriage. That is if she had tried getting pregnant and failed. Most of 30plus ladies are not ready to settle down anyway. Check their past before you dive. |

They want to get married i guess, but they dont want you to see anything wrong with them, you must say ok,no matter what. |
Re: hi? by adeboo(f): 7:52pm On Feb 24, 2008 |
Why must u inconvenient urself because the girl is in her late 30s. Nobody is forcing u to do jack - its ur choice. Why must u have to make such a life changing decision cause she is getting older. Dont be fooled, u'll be surprised that the next time u see her, she'll be with someone else and maybe even pregnant. Cause u aint with her dont mean that no one else will want her. |

Re: hi? by Dreloaded(f): 8:12pm On Feb 24, 2008 |
How does this idiot even know that the girl isnt on birth control. Gosh what an embarrassing thread |
Re: hi? by tRoOE(f): 8:15pm On Feb 24, 2008 |
This is what happens when women wait still their late twenties and early thirty before thinking about settling down or planning to have a baby. We women have to pay close attention to our body and health, maybe if she has seen her gynecologist early, they would have been able to help her and who knows what she has done in the past , i won't be surprise if she has been around the whole block |
Re: hi? by adeboo(f): 8:18pm On Feb 24, 2008 |
tRoOE: But sometimes its not her fault now that she is still single at that age - different issues affect us in life now. |

adeboo:I know that and there should have been a way it could be avoided, if she had done every 6months check up, this whole not having child would have been avoided |

Re: hi? by cooldude62(m): 10:11pm On Feb 24, 2008 |
@D-reloaded, Why calling the poster idiot? Say something before i reply that! This is a mature thread and not for kids Did you see this in the joke section? And by the way, can you read? Does this thread look like an attack on the women folk? If this is happening to you, all you need to say is “hey guys,it has happened to me/ it is happening to me” Pls, don’t even start, this is for adults ok! @ adeboo, Cause u aint with her don't mean that no one else will want her. "your line" I never was happy to leave her and i didnt see a place in my thread where i said i was! If I see her with someone and she's pregnant, i will be happy for her of course, she once told me the last guy she was with told her to get pregnant before they tied the knot, i suspected the relationship went out because she couldnt conceive. @ Ifyalways, i belong to the same age group with the girl in question and she couldn’t have had AIDS coz the company does a routine check on staff to know status. @almondjoy, what do you have to say? say something please and not the hmmms @house, I am hoping a medical expert will say something about the chronic PID and how it could be treated if possible. The last time we went for treatments, she was placed on some injections while I was on antibiotics. Get it right Y’all, I wasn’t happy to leave her, I put this thread up just to be sure I didn’t err by opting out of the stuff, that’s all, not to pick issues with kids. I understand most women have this problem, but not all have the chronic type. Y’all should say something about the medical part. |

Re: hi? by Dreloaded(f): 10:30pm On Feb 24, 2008 |
cooldude, na you I called an idiot. First off having unprotected sex is idiotic, 2nd the fact that you automatically think she's barren cos she never got regnant from it says alot about your maturity. Again how are you so sure she wasnt taking birth control |
Re: hi? by ifyalways(f): 10:33pm On Feb 24, 2008 |
@poster,she was not confirmed medically infertile yet so if you really love her as you sound you can still stick to her.talking of PID,if not treated early and well might lead to permanent damage to the reproductive organs.infections causing bacteria can invade the fallopian tubes causing normal tissues to turn to scar tissues.this finally leads to the blockage of movement of eggs to the uterus.women with PID have greater chances of having ectopic pregnancy and infertility. well, they said marriage its not all about having kids.there is always an option,ADOPTION. if you can, then you can still marry her . . . you too need to go for a test, you can be a healty carrier.if you love her enough, marry her then. |

Re: hi? by RDynamite(f): 11:43pm On Feb 24, 2008 |
Ohh dear! I won't say much on this. *sighs* Since you've treated it and she's still not conceiving, I suggest you take her for surgery or advise her to do so. The disease can actually be cured with antibiotics in the early stage but when it's left untreated it leads to infertility as the case may be here. There are other complications tho'. It could be that she's actually infertile as a result of this disease but surgery helps in most cases. |
Re: hi? by nigercook(m): 12:27am On Feb 25, 2008 |
you might be the infertile one, think about it |

Re: hi? by cuteass1(f): 1:35am On Feb 25, 2008 |
@ ifyalways Thats a funny one you had up there, but sha i'm not thanking anybody for him to be honest Cos if she had turned out to be HIV+ he would have had himself (and himself alone) to blame. Who goes having sex with a stranger once, not to talk of a million times without a blood test?? @ poster This is not the right time for you to say she isnt or wasnt a stranger . . as long as both of you have never been to a blood test, shes's a complete stranger to your sexual system Now lets talk about your crimes . . No 1) You really had a wish/plan/hope of marrying this girl or having a baby with her without going for an all-through test?? My guy, are you sure you're of this millenium or you're a number of "my case is different"?? And no its not just about the sexually transmitted diseases or the internal body diseases which could prevent one party from concieving but its also about being sexually compartible. No 2) Leaving the age thingy aside, how much did you love this girl?? Not that much i'm guessing. If her disease wasn't an incurrable one, how much did you fight to make her whole and hearty?? If you really had this big dream of having her as a partner, to what extent did you fight to show her what unconditional love is all about?? Did the doctor ever tell you the sickness affects her in anyway?? No 3) How would you feel if a girl moved to another city because you accidentally broke your nose? I can't mandate you stuck with her but my dear after the long time u guys spent together and the level of intimacy you shared, don't you think she deserve(d) more than just a "lost communication" excuse Did you for once try to put yourself in her shoes?? Or you're just there for the rosy days?? To answer your question sincerely, I personally do not think you love(d) this girl beyond doubts, so yes, you did the right thing by her! |

Good morning all, @D-reloaded, you sound personal on this issue! is it happening to you? well, we both tried to have a baby.(why not read my posts again?). and cant you put your message across without being abusive? thats says a lot about you! @nigercook, i went for a fertility test after we parted and was confirmed ok. @cuteass, we tried to have a baby!!!! i'm sure you cant do that using condoms,or can you? i knew her HIV status @all,F.YI, I opted out early before there was anniversaries and people start to count years and say was i not aware all these years? dont you know she's 30something? blablabla off to work. |
