no 2:T=1s....5t^2+25t=30..divide 2ru by 5, u'l av t^2+5t-6=0...(t+6)(t-1)....;t=1sec...

solution 1. Using v=root2gh 2 get ur g since its nt given,u wil get 10ms-2.then Time of flight=2usintita/g i.e 2*40*sin30/10 u will get T=4s
2. Using d 3rd equation of motion
s=ut+1/2at^2,i.e 30=25*t+1/2*10*t^2, 30=25t+5t^2,then collect like terms 5t^2+25t-30=0, divide through by 5,u wil get t^2+5t-6=0 then solve it quadratically u wil get two factors i.e (t+3)(t-2). So ur ans cnt b -3 therefore t=2seconds.
