There you people go again!!!
It is not your migraine, it is your inability to control your headache!!!
The reason nations have leaders is because there is no way individuals can perform certain important tasks.
So they elect representatives to carry out those tasks.
Volunteers step forward, they get elected and they don't do jack.
Yet you say it is not corruption or bad politicians.
The people have done their duty,
...they stood in rain and sun to make a choice,
...they pay this people well out of meager resources,
...they entrust this people with instruments of violence so they can fulfill their duties without impediments
What more would you have the people do?
Say NO? Haven't they said enough "NOs" already - and paid with blood?
What you are calling for is for the people to break a few heads
Butt that is not the way this was supposed to work.
Yet, the people may have to break a few precious heads.
...and it will not be pretty for everyone involved.

This is ridiculous!!!! I don't even know what to say. I can't believe this actually happens. What would it cost to fix lights!! Ordinary lights!! I mean it is for the good of everybody including the person refusing to fix them. It's not like he's immune or anything because he/she surely flies in and out of Lagos!! This is just plain stupidity! Smdh!

But really, for something like this, we shouldn't be talking about accountability. I would be ashamed as the president of Nigeria or any other high standing official (in the aviation ministry) that I am to fly into or out of Lagos. I mean come on! Fix the damn lights and potholes!!!

Very soon the lights and lanes at the airport will become like that of the average Nigerian road... Full of potholes and void of street lights. Na to dey use sense do am remain.

Some time before, during military dictatorship under Gen. Sani Abacha's regime, many western countries imposed sanctions on the Nigerian travel industries thus prohibiting their national carriers from entering Nigeria.., but when Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar took over, the (loosing)western countries were relieved to resume travel business with Nigeria even before the country was settled: they regretfully proclaimed that they have lost billions of Dollars as a result of the sanctions. This clearly shows that dealing with the Nigerian travel industry is a very lucrative one hence the western countries have chosen to ignore obvious hazards which are against standard safety measures to compensate for the profits.
Had it not be for the travelling population of Nigeria and the profits involved, the western countries would have sinced blacklisted Nigerian Airports long ago.
