I saw the confusion about aestivation and hibernation..I'm here to clarify. Ofcourse this doesn't matter cos u've already passed ur exam no matter what. I just want to make sure our juniors see the correct answer.
Aestivation and hibernation are both states of animal dormancy they are both characterised by lowered metabolic rate and inactivity. The differnce btw the two is that aesivation occurrs in response to hot weather like during the summer. While hibernation occurs in response to cold weather like during winter.

It is not hibernation Bro. U saw ''winter'' in the question. Winter is dry cold season which is aestevation. Why Hibernation is ''warm humid'' season which can also be refer to as summer. I go for aestevation cuz winter is the cold dry season we normally experience during chrismas period.
