In my own view, I think the school administration under the leadership of Prof. Abdul-Ganiyu Ambali is callous. The hike in the university charges is abnormal. The school charges (University charges and faculty charges) is increased by 73% (Faculty of Communication and Information Science, 100L.) as a case study, (Other faculty(ies) may be more or less than 73%) The bank charges is still intact likewise the minor charges per departmental borrowed course. The university charges and faculty charges now are far different from the old charges. While the university charges increase with 86.14% from #34,250 to #63,750, the faculty charges increase with 3.23% from #6,200 to #6,400. The total increase (in percent) of the total amount payable is 73% from #40,700 to #70,400 excluding the minor charges. This increase cannot be bear by all the students, the concerned authority should please take consideration into the situation.
