I just installed XAMPP on my windows7 but whenever i try to access phpmyadmin page, it displays this error message Error MySQL said: Documentation #2002 - The server is not responding (or the local MySQL server's socket is not correctly configured) Connection for controluser as defined in your configuration failed. Pls, how can it be corrected? |

U did not check both options for apache nd mysql during setup. Contact me @ http://.com nd I'l help u out |

check if you have an application using same port with the server.if you are using skype check the port 80 and unclick it |

MYSQL runs on port 3306 and SKYPE runs on port 8080 |
