Just to uplift our spirits a little: When Cameroon won the 2000 AFCON, they did so after gaining only 4 points in their group.
Therefore, impossible is nothing.

And you think both you and the person you quote have any point?

he should have put in Yobo abi? the same African champion that needed help from the ref to score?

How exactly do you worthless citizens want the team to do well when all what you people do from morning till night is curse the team wishing them badluck?

Did anyone force you people to watch them?

Is it a must to watch what you do not believe in?

cursed people.

It's like cursing your child/children, calling them useless, yet expecting them to excel in life.

Fools too many for this country and i share same country with them o. angry

Dignitary: Nigerians are very funny people!!!

Can't believe people have been posting from their socks!!!

Nigeria played really well!!! It was a commanding performance by the lads...We played against the defending champions, remember?

But 4 d FAKE penalty and some missed chances,we would have won.

Football needs LUCK at times...in d past 2 matches, LUCK has eluded us!!!

Believe me,whether we qualify or not, I think Keshi is building a good team...#That EMENIKE guy is a player I admire so much.

That said,I believe we will qualify. D game between Ethiopia and B'faso mite just end in a draw...and if that happens,we can still top the group!!! RELAX GUYS!

No from what i saw we lack TECHNICAL ability. We lack good players. For instance whats MUSA doing playing for Nigeria his so pooooorrrrrr. Then our midfield is non existant. Defenders will not commit passes there but hoof the ball to forwards.

Very predictable. We dont have a good team and Keshi is either very bad or the players cannot take instructions.

I was tearing my hair out. The Zambians made all subs before Keshi woke up. Too late, the midfield had already collapsed. Then he loaded a striker to a collapsing midfield, then an attacking midfielder and then it was too late. When defending a goal, everyone knows you collapse the wings into the midfield to sharpen the spear for counter-attack.

Please help me educate that idiot called Honerico!

SORRY NAIJA MISTAKEN PENALTY, IT WAS NOT MEANT TO BE.

AFTER WATCHING MULTIPLES OF REPLAYS ACTUALLY THE SCUFFLE HAPPENED WHILE THE DEFENDER WAS ON THE LINE AND THE STRIKER WAS INSIDE THE 18th AREA.

SORRY SHIPOLOPOLO, I JUDGED TOO EARLY.

Well to be honest the ref gave the game to zambia. But wait oo didnt anybody notice how happy they were to draw? Isnt it funny that defending champions are happy with draw? Dumb team depending on CAF to assist them. Well Eagles try again next match and make us proud. We really dont have a good coach

Its funny how Nigerians call themselves giant of Africa but others Africans, especially the north Africans always think otherwise. Its not add-maths that in two games so far, the officiating of the games cost Nigeria both games with some dubious decisions towards the end of the games.

How can you be the giant when you have no known voice inside CAF, let alone FIFA. I can't remember the last time a Nigerian official officiated any game in AFCON, not to mention the world cup.

From times unknown, football is not only won on the pitch but inside the board rooms of football too. I mentioned this in the last game and I will keep saying it that Nigerian govt and sports administrators should speak out about the kind of officiating their teams get in competition especially in African. You kicked a fuss about how much you are charged to telecast the AFCON games but ignore the politics of football.

That referee will never dream of giving a non free kick and action that happened well outside the box as a penalty against the likes of South African or Cameroon with minutes remaining.
