Our major problem is greed and distrust which has been used to manipulate we nigerians for a long time.

A situation where you have dullards and dafties as head of ministries what do you expect.

We are a nation without a future.

Everyman should stand for his right.

For there to be light you must pass through darkness this darkness is what nigerians are afraid of.

It is not the right thinking now that Nigeria should split. What good will it do you?
Friend, its the niger deltans that are punishing themselves. our reps. over there are selling us. Now what good will it do if the Niger Delta now decides to rule itself, its going to be civil war everyday. We havent managed the riches we have with the whole Nigeria, then how can we succeed on our own?

I'll advise you to focus on your life and career, if things arent going well for you find a solution yourself. Many nigerian youths are getting self employed nowadays and making it, mostly Niger Deltans. Just manage and grow.

What is this arguement about?
Because of the way the country is people find it hard to tolerate one another,
there is hatred everywhere.Hausas hating the igbos,the igbos hating the yoruba and they in turn hating the whole country.
Splitting up the country is not the solution and you can't blame whoever says thats the solution either because we all have an opinion.
This is just to show you that we have never had a good leader in the country,they all come,spend their tenure looting the country and then leave for another looter to come. Obasanjo has done his and now is yaradua's turn.
We are all just unfortunate to be here,whether you have got a good job or not.
Nigeria is one of the worse places to live in and its unfortunate considering the resources we have.
The place we are now is not where we should be and its all because of our leaders. We, the people, needs to force a change no matter how.

Actually, I was thinking that Africans should hold a conference and outlaw any divisive and war-mongering activity across the continent. Because as far as we continue to allow some good-for-nothing fellows to hold us hostage and continue to fight unrealistically with no common good or commonwealth consideration there will be no development on the continent.

Nigeria has over 300 different ethnic groups, most of them having no linguistic ties to the other, most of them considering themselves a nation within Nigeria. Look at all the countries through history that have split from each other, it is always because of ETHNICITY, why is Kosovo splitting from Serbia? 90percent of Kosovo is ethnic Albanian, Czechoslovakia, The Basques from Spain, Ambazonia, Quebec from Canada all of these are based on Ethnicity and Language. If you don't want Nigeria to split give a valid reason instead of doling out stupid analogies that bear no resemblance to Nigeria's situation.
