this is the problem with nigeria business, everyone wants to be a chairman managing director.
what is wrong in someone having an order from buyers here ,post a buying leads ,negotiate with people that have the prooduct ON GROUND HERE IN NIG,give them half payment ,supply ur buyers and pay the seller the remaining balance!
in that case,u have only spent half the amount, infact if u can be trustworthy some ppl here may decide to try u out on full credit.by that u havent even used a kobo out of ur pocket.
people have to know that it is the MIDDLE MEN THAT DETERMINES A LOT.because they know the end user.
well i have been told to keep quiet so i wil just be watching and reading through

you dont jst open your mouth and say sh*t... i did my first importation by readin the first few pages of season1 alone. i jst picked up my phone and gave CVM a call. they ddnt pick it so, i got into their site and had a long chat wt victor.... that was all i did... if u dont wann take risk, ther's no gain bt ppl dont want d risk these days nd they expect d money to come... i thot they said nigerians were smart ppl.
moreover, all u need is in s1 nd s2... if ther's a new development u'd know cos ppl in NL r very active.
it's lyk u wantin to make big money wt ur bus nd ur scared of comin on d road whn d biggest profits lie in going north or far east.
for those lookin 4 gud tabs, first search on google 4 what suits ur purpose nd pocket. i'm sure u'll find reviews on any tab on d web.. thn go to AE and search 4 d particular brand...... sighs

[quote author=Moberry]Thanks to this forum, I took a leap last month and ordered a bracelet worth about $2.60 on Aliexpress, I even forgot about it,but was called to the registry in my sch yesterday and told I had mail (cos I used my sch address and PMB,also was free shipping) turned out it was the bracelet, was VERY surprised...I guess I know what line of business I could go into now. I ordered with my visa card and I think its better if u make your order using a PMB not the P.O Box( you could use that of@ moberry, Here is my email address. stuff@mail2nasdaq.com I got a lot of jewelries get in touch if you need any. I sell whosales my prices are ok!

Princess zoe: it happens to me too. Infact is frustrating. Mine gives me a message saying "trademanager web site still under construction, install trademanager client to chat". I have even tried to install the second one but to no avail. What i do is to send a message through the contact icon then the person will initiate the chat but i must tell you, is annoying.

if u use an android phone, there's an ali express application in playstore wt a perfectly functional trade manager.... i'm not goin to advice u to purchase wt d application but you can chat with the buyers through it and also add goods to ur wishlist

Those of u saying newbies shud patronise those that hav d goods here in naija are mistaken, the market for the sale of ur goods is neva saturated, let me gv u guys an instance, i av personally met 4 guys at ogbete main mkt enugu state, my discussion wit them bothered on the supply of goods to them 4rm china at a very cheap price which they agreed on and the best part of it all is that 3 of them have made sm deposits, now my point to u guys z dis, the market 4 buyers of ur products z neva saturated, far more than half of business pple in various main mkts across nigeria doesnt knw abt online importation, even most educated peepz dnt knw abt it,ur ability to make sales depends on ur coverage. Nairalanders on this thread must nt patronize u, allow people to do their will, its all abt calculated risk and peepz like me r willing to gv it a shot. Meanwhile i wil be placing my orders on monday since i already av ready buyers waiting 4 me

i love this post!!!
we have population of 160m plus in Nigeria and less 100,000 people have access to this online importation business. i have done several deals ranging from selling bras, pants, health devices, computers accesories, laptops, phone accessories, diapers, electronics, laboratory chemicals etc. I have been combining these stuffs with my lecturing job with little stress. I stopped buying from or selling to Nairalanders because they are already into the deal themselves. I recently removed my signature in order to concentrate on my business outside NL.
let us start thinking on how to make money come 2015 general elections. You can outsource order for printing of posters, handbills, souvenirs, business cards etc. Just log on to alibaba and request for quotes from gold members only. Imagine how much would have been made on "opon imo" by the person who proposed the idea to Rauf Aregbesola. You can as well sell other ideas to these politicians cos majority of them are dullards, the only they want to hear is their own kick backs.

Herdeoye: Good to see that this informative thread is still alive and its even great to see that some people have taken the bull by the horn.To those who have questions that have not been answered please dont take it as an offence it isnt everyone that has the time to start taking you through the basics thats why the Season 1 of this thread still lives. All you have to do is to take some time and go through it. Trust me it wont hurt. After that you can still login to AE and go through their FAQs and forum you might be suprised your answers might be right there. If after that you think you havent had enough you can drop your question here. But please note that no one is under any obligation to answer it. I remember having an issue with my card some time ago but no one had a solution to it until i read it on AE that there was an upgrade that was why I had the problem. Imagine where the answer was, after calling customer care a dozen times. So please do not be offended if your questions are not answered promptly or answered at all. The next thing is taking a step toward the info we have gathered. I noticed someone from Season one that is still asking a newbie kind of question here. I still find it hard to believe. This import thing is not as hard as it seems but it seems those that are finding it hard are those that are following the masses. Dont be afraid to make mistakes it is part of the learning curve. Understand the market!!! Thats why we did Business Studies, Economics and probably Marketing in our school days. Thank God people have stopped asking for links. To some people importation is a leisure sport, while to others it is business.... SERIOUS BUSINESS.
Sorry if my jargons have offended you. I just felt like dropping my 5kobo!!!
you too much!

Kwammy to me, those items are very local. There are fine and unique jewelries in aliex which are being sold at cheaper rates. What you need is serious searching. Search, search and search. Also get a lady that is very trendy to assist you in selecting the types that can sell very well. @ soyodela, yes you can use gtb mastercard to pay for your purchase on aliex
