Not necessarily so. Modern liberal Jewish reformists now consider a child born to a Jewish father or mother as Jewish, not necessarily the mother only. Its mostly the conservatives who still base ancestry on matrilineal descent.

One issue arises because North American Reform and UK Liberal movements have changed some of the halakhic requirements for a Jewish identity in two ways:
A. Children born of just one Jewish parent –

The only thing missing from the Old Testament that our Lord expands upon in His Discourse is that He will use the agency of angels to bring Jews to Israel, instead of El Al airline as they come and go today from the modern state of Israel.

The Deuteronomy passage also provides an answer for why our Lord used the term "elect" in Matthew 24:31 to characterize His people. It is because at this pivotal point in history, the Jews will fulfill the requirements of Deuteronomy 30:2 and will turn "to the Lord your God and obey Him with all your heart and soul according to all that I command you today." This was also our Lord' s own requirement for the second coming in Matthew 23:39. The passage makes great sense with such a futuristic interpretation and is also in harmony with clear Old Testament teaching about Israel and that wonderful day when they will be converted to Messiah and receive in history their long awaited blessing.

So, there is no need for any DNA test. Igbos will not be going to Israel; angels will gather all Jews (among Igbos, Yorubas, Hausas, Fulanis, Europeans, Asians, africans, Americans, etc., to Israel, when Jesus returns to earth.

Notice from Deut 30:2 that in order for Israel's final restoration , which includes worldwide regathering of Jews, to take place, Jews must return to the LORD their God and obey him with all their hearts and with all their souls. It is not surprising that prophets around the world are pointing at Nigeria as where the great end-time worldwide revival will kick off. The revival will be spearheaded by Jews (in Nigeria). The primary purpose of this revival is the final restoration of Israel. Gentile Christians will benefit immensely, because they have been grafted into Israel. the revival will prepare the Church for rapture.

The great end-time revival is about to commence. People around the world will marvel at what God will use Igbos and other Jews to do.

Their commitment to their Faith is almost unbendable no matter how you argue with them they will not see the Bible from a different point of view , they cannot bend their tradition except for a miracle.

No amount of business or money can make them pick a phonecall on Saturday because they do not work on the Sabbath to the extent that on Saturday morning they do not even switch off the lights in their houses
because that is considered to be work.

The Othordox Jews are the best in the World in looking after their Community. Better than even the British or Americans Indians Chinese even the weakest and most vulnerable among them is never left behind.

They are extraordinarily intelligent even the not too educated ones.

You really studied them, these are some of qualities I noticed from few ones I came across also. Money is never ultimate to them. Good virtues, honesty, hard-work, orderliness, intelligence and adherence to their jewish religion. Those ones I know never played with Saturday Sabbath, I have keenly monitored them, they never made mistake for one day to the extent that I have to adjust to their timing if I have anything to do with them.
