For any candidate presented by APC to have credibility they must never have been a member of PDP . Even having such people as Ikimi as party members is quite disturbing |

Onlytruth: I agree with Ohanaeze again! It seems as if this new Ohanaeze leadership is more proactive than the erstwhile one. The difference between a yoruba man and an Ibo man is; The Yoruba man works, plans and makes a strategy on how to achieve his presidential ambition, while an Ibo man sits under a mango tree, takes his ogogoro and snuff, then comes out half naked with his pot belly to shout " I WANT THE PRESIDENCY". 8 Likes |

peckhamboi: Igbos are really a pitiable lot, it is obvious they don't have what it takes to rule the country, obviuosly from the state of underdevelopment and insecurity in biafra, coupled with inability of igbos to build a meaningful party of opposition right from independence that igbos have no agenda except that of grabbing power.Total gibberish!!! why dnt you stop being sentimental on a serious issue of this magnitude..........all you care about is portrayin the Igbos as hypocritics & devilish yorubas as saints, of which I know the yorubas 're the major looters we have in this country, besides, the reason for why the South-easteners are rallyin around Jonathan is that it's pellucid that Gej will seek for re-election on 2015 and with the power of incumbency he'll be automatically endorsed by the PDP.........:.SO PLS ALWAYS VERIFY THINGS PROPERLY BEFORE VOMITING HOCUS-POCUS WITH YOUR DUM MOUTH!!!... |

^^^^^^ You people are aimless and you have no sense of belonging, you flow wherever with no clear goals and objective and this is why they don't take you seriously. This is 2013 and you people are still crying and yelling to be elected and nominated for this and that no matter what or else when the this is the kind of rubbish we are trying to get rid of. It's not always about your tribe by any means necessary, this is about the best and the most competent man for the job. Funny homeless wanderers... 2 Likes |

slimghost: With a mindset like this from the ofemmanus, SE and SS might just decide to re elect GEJ come 2015. My own is, let me not hear "rigging" oo. Fool.s LOL...who cares? That's a threat, to who? I DARE you to elect your retardeen and he doesn't need iboz though because he will surely RIG himself in nonetheless. So after 2015, what next? Cry for presidency again?? In FACT, let retardeen win again and I will sit right here and laugh the buffoons that vote in the retardeen to scorn when he hits you left, right and center with all the crap he can muster! If I feel like, I will breeze in to your country and shake myself at the foo.l who cut off his nose to spite his face! Hahahaha |

alj harem: I am starting to hate this site You have no need to apologize for individual opinions of people, why not just state yours just like iboz state theirs? There is no need to pander to an ibo-ite who will still slander you at your back. They call every other part of Nigeria names, but they are the worst and so people should not state their opinions? @ Your comment, there are iboz in ACN and CPC, a minority, will their iboness be the reason why the party will WIN? People who have not built any bridge beyond their immediate families thrown up because they must choose 1 ibo out of a handful and present them to 140 M who do not see them as anything significant!? Abeg! Look, LET APC choose the best set of guys they can find (Hausa, Yourba, MB, SS etc) but not ibo to win only 5 states? If they LOSE, GREAT...the people have spoken and next time they can try again. There is NO BIG DEAL if they lose an election but lose it honourably! Retardeen will try to rig the election anyway so the APC should put in their best and keep strategizing and keep getting better and readying for the time they get the people's mandate! If a bad government is elected like the retardeen, who will suffer? The ibos, hausas, yoruba, etc will suffer together! 1 Like |

dayokanu:hahaha....you have just exposed your ignorance of the Nigerian polity, CPC is only in control of just one state, Nassarawa. And if you knew anything about the North, you would know that Nassaraw is a mix of many tribes who do not neccessarily share thesame cultural features or views with the Hausa majority. The ANPP are even more popular witg three states under their grasp: zamfara, Yobe and Borno. The rest of the north is still largely PDP and they are extremely popular with supporters ready to kill at any slight hint of confrontation with any other opposition. In fact, if we were to go by contributions, the CPC is the Joker in the merger with just only one state in their control and a crying ex-general who is not ready to support anyone but himself. If you think the East which has more of its people scattered across Nigerian than any other region( most times in the right amount to cause an upset or balance in votes) are not important enough to state their own conditions if they will wholeheartedly join the merger is reflection of your political naivity. Every region is just as important in that merger as they see themselves and the conditions that got them stay-put in the merger. Telling or dictating to Igbos(who justifiably have very good reasons for their demand) to wait behind some overspent northerner or a Yoruba pretender in the guise of meritocracy is to undermine and overlook their importance in the union. Igbos wont box themselves in such corners again, never again, we will demand it, arm-twist, make compromises, choose anyone that best suits our aims cos after all said and done, it is all about the bigger picture-political self-preservation. Let no man dictate anything to us, shikena. |

So you honestly think Igbos are not working towards it? Sure we are, and you will see that come 2014. Again why are guys saying that APC do not need Igbos to wrestle power from GEJ? Is that joke or what? All Ohaneze is saying is this, "if u want our help, bring something to the table". After Nigeria is all about looking out for ur own people's interest before the Nation as a whole! |

I don't even get why people are arguing with the yoruba's on this forum. There so called political power, strength and the decider of Nigerian presidency yet the north have ruled over "the strength" for so many years. The only one that came from their region is one of the worst president of Nigeria to date. Why do una take this people seriously? Anyway, only you people know. I just find them funny whenever I read their boast. Anyway, some people are even too stupid to understand what ohaneze is trying to say yet call themselves "strength of Nigeria politics". Anyway sha, the group is telling you people that if you want SE vote then field someone that would vote for. Igbos would not vote for any political party which does not have their interest in mind. It just that simple of a statement. Nothing complex, nothing serious to decipher. SMH @ the amount of stupidity from the so called "APC" group. Anyway, APC would lose in 2015 so I don't know why anyone is arguing or fighting whether there is a potential of them winning. I don't forsee that group winning but let's wait to 2015. N |

slimghost: Look yourself in the mirror now and tell us what you see! The problem with you guys is your superiority complex you moan about others but fail to take a look at yourselves. Contrary to what many thinks I don't hate Ibos but I joined NL because of the bigotry that some ibo posters here potray everytime they post. If an Hausa man held a post it must be because he's a Hausa but if an ibo man head a post it must be on merit, Ibos look in the mirror this country does not revolve round you, display some humility and engage with others otherwise you are doomed. A word is enough for the wise. 1 Like |
