Biafra rep: Who the hell is this retard? Nigerians are lucky because you call yourself a Nigerian? Now I ask you again, who the hell are you? I was really enjoying myself going through this thread until I collided with your post. Nigeria, a country that boasts of so many world renowned intellectuals in almost all fields of human endeavor, with like people Achebe, Philip Emeagwali, and so many others of global fame identify with Nigeria without making a biggie out of it, only for a wretched lowlife street sweeper of Peck ham like you, who has contributed nothing meaningful to Nigeria to be saying this trash! Is this how low your self esteem is? Lawd have mercy on your pathetic soul.
thoroughly enjoyed ur post...lol

The holy book made us to understand that people perish because of lack of knowledge, many diaspora Nigerians are really suffering, though majority of them would not admit it for obvious reasons but the truth is that they are passing through very difficult times, many of them are frustrated and is such a pity that they do inhuman and demeaning jobs which the whites would not touch just for them to make ends meet. Some of our country men and women, took up jobs at the morgue so they could be washing cadaver! Others work at the old people's home were they attend to old and sick people, generally part of their job include cleaning urine and feaces! The irony of it is that the more nauseating and disgusting the work, the higher the cents! Because of shame or fear of being called failures by the folks they left behind in Nigeria, they would rather die there than come back empty handed. The global economic meltdown really dealt a devastating blow on Europe, though USA,Canada and Australia are recovering albeit at a snail pace but Europe is finished economic wise, Greece has collapsed, Portugal is in crises. UK, France and Spain is facing unprecedented unemployment problem. People and corporations with foresight are moving towards developing countries like China, India, Nigeria etc so they could tap into their high ROI and many virgin areas that have not been exploited. Many uninformed diaspora Nigerians do not know that Nigeria has one of the highest ROI in the world. With average capital, foresight and resilient attitude, one could easily become rich in Nigeria but in Europe, if you are poor, you are likely to remain poor till you die because everything has been structured to favour the capitalists. My advise to my country men abroad, save as much money as you could, think of ideas that would sell in Nigeria and invest!

occam:

oh you were deported when your "aduro" expired. No wonder you sound so bitter. And I bet you hardly strayed outside your Hackney basement apartment throughout your unfortunate stay. Hemel Hempstead? Edgware? sound familiar? I didn't think so

This article is about Nigerians who studied in the U.K, not an "aduro" like you. Anyway have fun in your Lekki mansion.
what the phuchk does aduro mean dude i'm not razz like u besides i would rather live in my lekki mansion with a lot of girls around many servants knack left right and center than go and live in peckham on top of a council floor on the 15th floor built on a semi detached house filled with hood rats up and down the streets like seriously who lives in peckahm

Sometimes when i read a post like this i feel that some people are not exposed, so backward thinking and dam right uninformed. Working in home care or elderly people's home is a full time job for many people, its their profession, they studied it in school, get trained and are making a healthy living out of it. This is not just a job for illegal immigrants or for blacks, this is a job for all colours and there is nothing shameful about it.

You talked about people washing dead bodies to make a living, i ask you this...who washes dead bodies in Nigeria? Jobless people? people picked up from the street? Or nurses from those hospitals?

Yes things are difficult for alot of people so what? Are things rosy in Nigeria? You said European economy is dead but the same European countries are giving Nigeria aids worth millions.

What is the percentage of Nigerians living in Nigeria making honest living without stealing and bribing their ways out of everything? What is the condition of social amenities and living standard of ordinary Nigerian?

Please help me to ask him o?

As much as it is good to be patriotic to one's country, there is no need to be delusional. E.g. I was speaking to a friend the other day who seemed to think people in UK are not allowed to talk on phone while at work, I asked him where he got that info. If you want to believe that people abroad are really suffering then please go ahead and believe that.
In Naija you can hit money and become dangote overnight but everybody knows true riches never happens overnight, the same way people hit it and become millionaire overnight is the way they loose it overnight.

It is Nigeria that I learnt the term "Olowo ana" meaning "yesterdays rich man" so please yarn me another one.

Anyway I found this piece written by a Nigerian living in Nigeria
