kkmny81: I can't wait for 2015 this man has to go.under his administration the country keeps getting worse.corruption is at its peak with culprits geting only a slap on the wrist.this guy is just incompetent.

Corruption has been worser in past regimes, they always covers it up but the coming of GEJ and the freedom of information act that GEJ signed made those happenings in Government to be brought to limelight for all to see do you think GEJ doesn't know the implications before he signed it?. Stop blaming GEJ for this countrys woes. How do you expect him to fix a rot that took over 40yrs in just 3yrs or so in office.

Even after GEJ corruption will still remain in Nigeria but will always be covered up, his removal of the subsidy revealed lots of crimes that has been commitied under the subsidy payment issue.

We are our own problems, do you know the tribal sentiments/pressure that arises whenever you want to prosecute a suspect?. Ok we all know that Tinubu is a criminal even his supporters know it though they might not admit it but let us prosecute him now and you will see yourobas running aroung and shouting PDP do this PDP do that, leave tinubu alone this and that same with IBB and Buhari. The problem of Buhari is that he doesn't have much time to steal much before IBB sacked him. But none of those people will be prosecuted without sentiments from their tribe men and woman. So how do you expect corruption to be fixed in Nigeria.

Like I always said, am yet to see a solution to the problems of Nigeria. You guys always look for fault to blame GEJ for not prosecuting these suspected criminals. The ones he prosecuted how did it always go? They will always be released by the court at the end of the day or do you expect GEJ to go against the court rules so that you will also start complaning. Is obvious a lot of people don't know the problem of Nigeria.

Our Police force is rotten, will you blame GEJ for it?

The efcc OBJ created is the worst of them all, will you blame GEJ for it?.

The Judiciary is as corrupt as the police force, will you blame GEJ for it?.

Maybe GEJ should start doing the work of the police, efcc and the judiciary by himself.

It is the duty of government to take responsibility of hosting The Queen. She is the head of commonwealth nations. Reason it well.

You must be too retarden to think anyone believes this nonsense you wrote up there, this is just an example of who you are, a typical example of a failed country.

150million naira in 2006 is actually more that $1m. Exchange rate then was around 120 to the dollar.

I don't need to be told that you are one of the corrupt Nigerians who tend to classify every Nigerian as being corrupt in order to justify themselves.

For your information, Buhari as a former Oil Minister, NNPC MD, President and PTF Chairman had enough opportunity to steal, but choose not to because he ia a very committed Muslim as some of us are very committed Christians. Abdusalam was President for less than a year but he finished our external reserve. It is criminals like you that will never want our nation move forward. But you know what, even if you escape judgement in our present life of less than 80 years, eternity will certainly judge you and your likes.

One thing I have noticed on Nairaland is that the same treatment meted to Fashola isn't meted to GEJ, sopme people here don't like GEJ and they would go to any length to discredit him. They are paid A.C.N propagandists and yet whenever anybody posts anything in Jonathan's favour, the person is a member of the 40 Laptop crew. What skewed logic!
As for the document, any document could be manufactured to discredit a person. Is the document the Original copy or the CTC? Those should be the pertinent questions, instead, Take Dat, Airhead and other A.C.N propagandists have seen dis as another avenue to insult the president!

Atleast, Jay-Z and beyonce sing and perform.
They are entertainers. 150m could be viewed as investment
because a chunk of it could be recouped.

Fashola paid 500m for Kim Kadarshian who does not sing nor
dance nor perform. She only put up a less than 45 minutes
appearance, talked for three minutes after which she jetted out via a
waiting plane but yet pocketed 500m of lagos taxpayers money.

Don't discuss Fashola's wasteful spending in bringing Kim to Nigeria, instead concentrate on what did or did not happen in 2006.

My dear, that is the hypocricy in nairaland.
Fashola paid 500m for Kim who only put up a 45 minutes appearance and no one seems to be complaining.
Individually, the Jay-Z or Beyonce brand is way bigger than Kim.
Paying 150m to bring the two biggest stars to Naija is way more prudent than paying 500m to Kim
who only showed up for 45 minutes.

By the way, I don't even believe this story from Sahara. Those scanned documents displayed
there could be mere graphic work. The Nation newspapapers have done it before on Obasanjo.

Proof?? How about I forge a piece of paper, scan it and post it here?? Would you accept it as proof??
Why should I accept a document from Saharareporters, who have presented false documents numerously in the past as proof?? I know better than that please.

Its pointless trying to convince u. I know yor type too well,...u av peeps like Reuben Abati, Doyin Okupe,Labaran Maku et al as heros & role models,...so why any Nairalander expects better from u beats my imagination.

PapaBrowne: Anybody that believes Saharareporters would believe anything.
The article has only one purpose: To distract from the news that Fashola paid 500,000 USD for Kim Kardashain's visit.
2006 is 7 years ago. We really cant be bothered about that right now. We've seen worse, like the 2,2 billion naira 150 seater hall in Abuja.

The news of the day is Fashola's $500,000 on Kim Kardashain and it would be fool hardy for Sahareporters to try to distract us from that reality and prevent us from asking Fashola the right questions.
What? It was Fashola that did it?
