tjskii: Try okro soup,u can buy lik 100naira okro,50naira ugu leaves(spinach)buy palmoil(lik a quarter,shudnt be more than 70naira)smoked fish(200)drypepper(10naira),meat(500naira deprndin on ur pocket),crayfish(50N)total of about 1k,and u can eat d soup bout 6-7times,if ure d only one.
Simple to make too, after u boil ur meat, put d stock(meat water )on fire, add palmoil, maggi, salt, drypepper, smokedfish, crayfish and bring to boil, add ur okro(u can add in a little wateer),after bout 8mins add ur ugu leaves, leav to simmer for bout 5mins and uv got urself a healthy nutricious meal that is easy on d pocket

@pareto or warreva u call urself. Dunno who ll forever remain in the poverty section, u or d OP. A youngman is seeking advise that ll better his life, u r here blabbing dust. The OP has chosen to plan his life, failure to plan is planning to fail. He aint like who i presume wants to live a fake life to impress girls (at chinese restaurants and sharwarma joints) who av no interest in his future. OP decided not to eat his future today.
@Op,men are in sizes and life is in phases, u r living this phase now, NL is not going anytime soon and ll soon see u in the property/investment/business section speaking in trillions. This is just a phase. U'll soon not know how much ur wife spends on food. It's a matter of time

No recipe mentioned above beats my budget.

OP, just buy #100 indomie, hungry-man size. prepare it with more than enough water. Make sure u still have some Liquid left after it's cooked. There u have your soup and your indomie for supper.
#using one stone to kill two birds#, my humble opinion.

very well said. buh, i still think allowing d okro 2 cook for 8mins wil mean over-cooking it considering dat it is vegetable, and shouln't b cooked 4 more dan 2-3mins.
