“Does Father Creator really exist?” “Yes of course!” “Can you prove it?” “You and I are the proof.” “How?” “Without Father Creator you won’t be in existence, I’ll not be existing, just as Limitation’s pot and Standaloof’s clay toy would not have been in existence without Mr. Potter. We’re just like clay in the hands of Father Creator who made us. Believing there’s no Father Creator opens door to a lot of questions without answers—questions like, who created the seas, the sands, the living creatures, the waters, the sun, moon and stars, the blooming flowers in the gardens, the winsome winds, the eye-catching islands, the rocks, the trees, the silver and the gold in the ground? Who painted the rubies red, gold yellow, diamonds sparklingly white? Who painted the skies and the oceans blue, the clays brown? Who heats the sun, roots the trees and energizes the seas? Who put voices in your throats?” “But he’s not visible, why? Where is he if he’s really existing?” The Sage smiled and replied, “He’s everywhere. The wind exists, yet not visible. Actually, he’s above us.” “Above? But why? Why can’t he stay with us?” Father Sage held his arm and led him out of the cottage. Outside the house, the moon had appeared and the night seemed as day. Father Sage asked Hope to climb a rock and he obeyed after hesitating. With the light of the moon, Hope climbed the rock and soon got to the top. Then the priest said, “Hope, look around! What do you see?” Hope smiled with delight as his mouth went wide. He felt the awesomeness of the atmosphere and got carried away, not minding the wind which was pouring boisterously as though it would carry him away. He saw the nocturnal creatures spreading out their functional wings as they trooped out of their nests. He also saw trees swaying like some choreographers. The splendour of the ambience of the night lightened the burden in his heart. He was jolted out by Father Sage’s yell. “Hope, what did you see?” “Everything,” Hope replied with a smile. “Everything?” the priest yelled. “Of course!” he replied. “I can see the roof of my house, your cottage, Dungalow bungalow, Castration castle, Flirts’ flats, Hurt huts, Unstable stable, Innocency inn—all homes in Average street and Happy-Go-Lucky.” “Good!” the Sage yelled gladly. “I can also see the Valley of Failure, Avenue of Self-pity, forests, rivers, lakes, mountains, seas, oceans, islands, springs, hills and many other features I know nothing about.” “Good, little Hope, can you descend the rock now?” “Wow!” Hope screamed joyfully, taking no heed to the words of the Sage. “Come down, Hope!” the Sage screamed and Hope heard him now. In few minutes, Hope was with the Sage again. “So—I guess you’ve seen the reason why Father Creator stays above us,” the Sage said. “Of course, yes!” Hope replied. “He sees things vividly from above—things we never can see as long as we remain below.” “Any more questions?” “Yes, I have some more,” Hope replied. “I overheard Doubt, my uncle say that even if Father Creator existed, he should have been dead long ago.” The Sage smiled and said, “Hope, how many times have you heard from me that Father Creator can never die, yet you still doubt this fact? I guess you’ve given room to Doubt your uncle to influence your mind.” Silence pervaded the air. 2 Likes |

“Anyway, I’ll answer your question, Hope. If Father Creator had died long ago, then none of us here would have had to be born, because if the creator was dead, none should be left to create us. Hope, the existence of a soul proves the existence of Father Creator. The dancing trees you see while you were over the rock, whom do you think they’re dancing to? The rivers flowing, the breeze blowing, the springs springing, the lakes, the blue seas, the firmament, why do you think they remain till today? Hope, if the rocks and mountains could keep up their existences for donkey years, not dying, why then should you think their creator would die? If the cool winds could keep cycling the earth each day, from dawn to dusk, how then should you think their creator could die? If the sun and the moon could keep appearing at those lofty heights since the beginning of the earth, how then should you feel that their creator would stop existing? The sun and the moon staying up there indicate that Father Creator is above all because they are the hurricane lamps of Father Creator.” “But he believes, according to Mr. Atheist’s doctrine, that everything happens by nature. He said all existences and happenings are the products of nature,” Hope spoke. “Product of nature?” the man responded. “Wonderful! Then nature must be a living soul for creating all these things. Since I was born till date, I’ve never seen any living soul exist without the hand of another living soul in it. So, Hope, for human to be product of nature, then nature itself must be a living soul. Perhaps, nature is Father Creator himself. Perhaps, maybe—” the Sage brightened his face and paused to take a deep breath. “Nature can’t die. You can’t cheat Nature. You can’t kill Nature. You can’t mature without Nature. There’s no future without Nature. You can’t get nurtured without Nature. The picture of your face you can’t behold without Nature. There’s no creature, culture, fracture, pasture, rapture, structure, vulture without Nature. Tell me, can any creature, by thinking, add a cubit to his stature? This can only happen by Nature. So, I’ll infer that Nature himself is Father Creator and Father Creator himself is Nature, and nothing can be without Nature. So...for Mr. Atheist to believe that Nature is the creator of all things, then he’s indirectly supporting the existence of Father Creator. At this juncture, I rest my wrest.” 3 Likes 2 Shares |

Hope’s mouth went wow as he bowed his head to either the Sage or the invisible Father Creator. He raised his face and said, “But Father, one more thing I seek to find a suitable answer to.” “Seek and you will find,” the Sage responded immediately. “The mystery of Alacrity my brother,” Hope spoke soberly. “He died at such tender age. He shouldn’t have died at sixteen. Why should Alacrity predecease Mother Witch? I—I think death should begin from the old.” “Then I shouldn’t be alive by now,” the Sage said with a smile. “I’m sorry,” Hope pleaded, feeling sorry for his speech. “You don’t need to do that, Hope,” the priest said, handling his hair. “I’m aware of the enormity of your childish animosity against Father Creator each time you recall the death of your brother. By common sense, Hope, you’re right, but by uncommon sense you’re on the wrong path. Can you cast your mind back to those days you were in your mother’s womb?” the Sage asked and continued, “While in there, can you tell me if Father Creator made any agreement with you regarding the years you’ll spend out of the womb?” “I couldn’t remember having such agreement,” Hope replied. “So then, the owner of life can take it back any time,” the priest remarked. “So, Alacrity’s death should not be blamed on Father Creator.” Silence fell on them. “Is anything bothering you still?” “Nothing,” smiled Hope as he felt great weight break loose from his heart. “I’m lighter now,” he confessed. Just then, an afterthought danced into his line of thoughts and he uttered, “Just this one Father, I Hope you won’t get angry with me?” Father Sage beckoned on him to ask his question and he uttered, “Why do you hate Revenge?” Father Sage broadened his shrinking cheeks with smiles and stared at Hope adoringly, then he said, “Hope, I’m glad you asked this reasonable question. Revenge is the enemy of all souls, nobody’s friend.” “I think he’s Mr. Doubt’s friend.” Hope needed expatiation. “He’s not,” the Sage said. “Why do you think he is?” “He sent him to rescue me from the Hurt, but little Faith had already done that. So, I think for him to have accepted the offer of my uncle, they must be in good terms.” “You’ve made a big mistake, Hope,” the Sage declared. “Revenge is just like an errand boy, receiving money to attack anyone. In fact, he’s like a round thing hit to and fro in a parabolic path. Though Revenge could get to the Hurt wearing the sandals of Vandal his late twin brother to damage a lot of things, but I can assure you that in the next moment, Mother Witch could send him back to your uncle to hurt him, and thus an everlasting ‘tit for tat’ prevails. So, how then is he your uncle’s friend?” Hope reasoned along with the Sage and believed his sayings. However, the Sage added, “Besides, it’ll be unheard of me that I’m befriending a descendant of Violence who was surnamed Hoodlum. As you know, Revenge is the heir of the heir of the hairy heir of Violence.” |
