Glory to Rome! Extend my Regards to the Pope, the beacon of Peace in the World. A very welcomed Development, very thoughtful. Now, for the critics, this is the moment that Nigeria by little but amplified actions should do every little bit of things to prove we are not just a bunch of Muslim Terrorists, that there are more Christians than Muslims. We need to send a great team out there, and make noise about Presence of Nigeria and let the world know we are CHRISTIANS not terrorist-filled Nation!!!

stop being a blithering iidiot. That Kano did it does not make it right.

Is it a crime if Nigeria sends a warm congratulatory message via the foreign ministry, as nations having financial challenges are expected to, rather than engage in another spending jamboree?

From peoples comment its very clear that Ignorance is at a very high level here. The Vatican is a country and as such invites other countries to inauguration of its president which in this case is the Pope. Its not a religious matter.

I don't see anything wrong in it, how many of them are going, btw? Beside, all of the dignitaries are well-to-do and can afford to sponsor themselves. They did not create the situation, it just happened.
Some people would one day die of hearth attack over an irrelevant issue if this current trend of out pouring is not checked.

Not until we start our revolution, these people will be taking us for fools. I cry 4 nigerians.

Nigerias always want to feel as if they are part of the international community (hence the invite for Kim Kardashian).

What they dont understand is that they have to pay a heavy price to be part of that community because that community has no regard for a corrupt inferior minded country where so called leaders like David Mark see no problem running to Germany for medical checkup.

Do you guys know that Nigerians pay 3x to buy "beginning of discussion/discussion continued" cars from US, and pay extra for anything imported from that country? ANd those coming to the US to give birth because they know being a Nigerian is worthless in this world pay cash (about 14k) to just give birth to pikin.

David Mark is not the person to lead this "large" delegation.

WHy not have one of the bishops and one or two folks, but of course, we have to bring everybody to show we are a great country.

Nonsense

any rubbish that enter your head you put down!! Apprently you're ignorant to the fact that nigeria has one of the largest catholic population in africa and the most senoir africa in the church cardinal arinze is a nigerian. So it will mean alot to nigerian catholics to see their government fully represented in the enthronement of their holy father!!

Wouldn't it mean alot to Nigerians to see their government fully transparent and developing the cities that are all a dumping spot of trash, aristos, wanna be pastors, ritualists, oning and offing gen folks, and did I mention trash?

Look at other "catholic" countries, like France, Italy, Spain, Ireland, Germany, and yes, they deserve representation at the papal meetings, not lightless displaced priority Nigerians who always want to "Belong" with the who's who of the world, when the Who's Who know they belong with Rogue nations

If the new pope is really out to help the poor, he should reject the visit of these corrupt government officials who want to use the peoples monies to touch the skies. Shame on the papacy for receiving such a delegation and at the same time profess support of the poor.

RESOURCES WASTAGE IS IN THE VEIN OF MOST NIGERIANS
MOST ESPECIALLY THOSE AT THE TOP OF OUR POLITICAL
AFFAIRS OF THIS NATION. THOSE DELEGATES ARE NOT
GOING THERE TO FILL THEIR SPIRIT WITH THE
CONVICTION THEY WILL MEET THERE. RATHER THEY
ARE INTERESTED IN THE CAKE THEY ARE GOING TO
SHARE AS A RESULT OF THAT TRIP. POPE FRANCIS TOLD
HIS COUNTRY MEN TO USE THEIR TRIP BUDGET TO
AGUEMENT SOME BASIC NEEDS FOR THE POOR, WHICH
SHOWCASE HIM AS A GOOD MAN OF GOD, NO WONDER
THE ENTIRE CATHOLIC MISSION OF THE WORLD
ENTRUST SUCH CERTAINTY ON HIM. POPE FRANCIS
IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER SON AND THE HOLY
SPIRIT ONE IN TRINITY I WELCOME YOU TO THE
HOLY SEE.
