Please am trying to seek admission into any college in Toronto that has a cheap fee for international students. I am applying with an O-Level result,will i need to write TOEFL or IELTS? You will get jobs plenty on campus....Cant say for other provinces though...but for Alberta here...the thing yapa....thats the difference between here and Nigeria...if you are hardworking. ..u reap the rewards. ..@chrigo...there are plenty stuffs other than cleaning to do ooo....I met a young Nigerian working for a telecommunications company as an assistant(like those umbrella guys in naija).
We got talking and he shared his monthly pay with me...he earns far more than my sis in Gtbank(with suit and A.c
So by and large...just psyche yourself up when coming that there is "dignity" in anything you lay your hands to do"...the 6 months stuff is outside campus!
And as for the article Chrigo read....they worked outside campus before the embargo elapsed!

1stcindy: Economics too is a research program. You have the option to choice Thesis-based or Project-based. And YES, some MA Economics get funding too. it all depends on schools and programs. How much funding does the school/program have plus number of qualified students for funding

They check for 1 year expenses in the SOA balance...and assume that a good cash flow will also see you thru the coming year (though they're quite aware that man pikin must surely hustle over there to make ends meet)...Hence, their requirement for proof of source of income (company docx/employment letter/landed docx for rental purposes from ur sponsor etc)

If so, since the tuition fee is about N3,200,000/year, sponsor should have about N5-N6m, shey? Would the N5-N6m be static in the account?

Yep,tuition, feeding and accommoidation.

Since the tuition is about #3.2m, then assume feeding,accommodation and other expenses to take abt #1.6m (approx. $10k)...totalling #4.8m...
A min. of #6-7m will keep you on the safest side.

N/B: You're going for MBA which will cost more.


At all times during the processing of ur application, ensure that the min balance in the accounts involved doesn't drop below that range...
