jimmyjerry07: Thanks a lot bro! I submited a UK university admission letter, wondering if I can change to Canada and still meet up as per processing period if am successful in the interview. If their decision comes in mid june, do you think canada will still be feasible? |

khemthar: Dear @justwise xtus preferred to have his discussion outside this thread and i rather he keep off than discouraging people who want to keep the discussion open here. This is what he has being doing from the first day he registered here..links below prove that. 1. https://www.nairaland.com/163979/how-get-visa-appointment-austrian#9886867 2.https://www.nairaland.com/700645/how-convenient-student-life-austria#9888142 3.https://www.nairaland.com/590405/study-austria.fast-admissionno-legalisation-low#9890804 4.https://www.nairaland.com/823858/travelling-canada-part2/45#10561974 5.https://www.nairaland.com/823858/travelling-canada-part2/90#10954578 6.https://www.nairaland.com/823858/travelling-canada-part2/89#10946587 7.https://www.nairaland.com/823858/travelling-canada-part2/89#10946580 8.https://www.nairaland.com/823858/travelling-canada-part2/73#10810071 9.https://www.nairaland.com/823858/travelling-canada-part2/65#10736872 10.https://www.nairaland.com/823866/general-u.s.a-student-visa-enquiries-part2/36#10724167 11.https://www.nairaland.com/962116/travelling-canada-part-3/83#12040504 12.https://www.nairaland.com/962116/travelling-canada-part-3/57#11833513 13.https://www.nairaland.com/962116/travelling-canada-part-3/56#11828696 14.https://www.nairaland.com/215610/where-nigerians-australia/6#11021564 15.https://www.nairaland.com/962116/travelling-canada-part-3/178#12896682 16.https://www.nairaland.com/962116/travelling-canada-part-3/395#14715117 17.https://www.nairaland.com/1229480/travelling-canada-part-4/64#15433893 I'm sure by now he has enough members to carry on outside this thread, he should carry on with that. mozo: Thanks ... But fortunately for me, the UK refusal was in 2008 and it was an old passport(not ecowas pee) and I got the ecowas passport after then, so there's no stamp on it... Is it safe to say I've not been refused b4? |

deebla: it not really that of a big deal, i've seen people that were denied u.s visa 3 times, but applied for their canadian trv, and was honest about it and still got it, i have come across people that were denied visa lied abt it and still got their TRV.. it actually a risk thing but you gotta put in mind tho, if you lie about it and they find out, that misinterpretation.. and the penalty for that is 2 years ban.. been denied a UK visa does'nt decide your fate about your canadian permit.. just being real.. Good luck |

Goldie20: True talk, I know someone that was denied US visa 5 times, he didn't mention it, and as I talk to you he is on his way to Canada. But like Goldie said its a thing of choice, being honest about it could add to your credibility.. The choice really is up to you my guy. |

I live in Vancouver Canada but dont know anything about immigration since I was born here. I do know if you get a f/t job offer while on student visa you can get citizenship. Be careful of scam schools, I can check out a local van school if you want. Not a lot of Nigerians in Van but doesnt matter, all ethnicities live here like Chinese/korean, middle east and a lot of students from all over the world. 1 Like |

deebla: Be honest and explain why you were refused a visa (if you can remember) Being honest can only give your application some credibility, don't give them an excuse to deny you a visa. Were you banned by the UK embassy when you were denied a visa in 2008? Did you give your fingerprint at that time? |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 4 by VCTROKOYE: 5:28pm On May 13, 2013 |
My guy since you have a new passport, don't declare you have been denied before. I was once denied, I have never declared and yet I have traveled world wide. The denial was in the old passport. but I have ecowas now |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 4 by bobdobbs: 6:13pm On May 13, 2013 |
mozo: yeah victoria is small, cheaper than vancouver. its all students or old retired ppl. Uvic big university is there plus lots of colleges. most students there relaxed stoners lol. you can take a ferry over to vancouver whenever you want. theres also more girls than guys there, will be easy to pick up girls in clubs and bars |

bobdobbs: What about in terms of job availability.. Nah that one be the koko for me o! |

mozo: http://victoria.en.craigslist.ca/ some jobs posted here, also check canada job bank. (google it) and search for victoria. can also check local newspaper the Times Columnist they have online job search. since so many students lots of jobs are filled during school year then desperate for workers in the summer when many students leave to vancouver |
