PDP Going To War In 2015!- Tukur by omenka(m): 5:37am On Mar 24, 2013
National Chairman of the ruling Peoples
Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Bamanga
Tukur, yesterday warned his party members
that the emergence of the All Progressive
Congress (APC) is for real and poses a
formidable threat in the 2015 elections.

“There is a group that just came up and
wants to sweep the mat off our feet,” Tukur
said in a veiled reference to the APC at a
meeting of the Northwest zone of the PDP in
Kaduna.

Three of the six PDP governors in the zone -
Sule Lamido of Jigawa, Rabiu Kwankwaso
(Kano) and Aliyu Wamako (Sokoto) -were
absent at the meeting.
It was, however, attended by Governors
Ibrahim Shema of Katsina State, Usman
Dakingari (Kebbi) and the host, Mukthar
Ramalan Yero.

Continuing, the PDP Chairman said: “PDP is
all about patronage. We are going to dole
out our patronage to all our members who
remain in the party.

“I am here to tell all our supporters about
the virtue of patience. Patience is such a
priceless thing, that the Hausa people say, ‘a
patient man can cook a stone and drink its
sauce’. I want to plead with our members in
this zone to imbibe this teaching.

“This is because without patience, we will all
be in disarray. And we cannot afford to be.
THERE IS A HEAVY WAR AHEAD IN 2015. A group
has come up and wants to sweep the mat off
our feet. We cannot allow that to happen.
The PDP is the only party that is not
religious, not sectional or tribal. We are one
big party, and we intend, and we must
remain so.

“What I am saying here is what I told our
supporters in the South West. They are not
happy, because of the problem they face in
the party in that zone, a minority has taken
over power there.

“Let me inform you. We are going to give
patronage to all our members who have
contested elections and lost. There is
enough in the party to go round everyone.
There is no need to leave the party.”
Vice President Mohammed Namadi Sambo
who was at the meeting asked members to
unite for the rebuilding of the party.

“This tour undertaken as part of the
celebration of the first anniversary of the
national working committee is also in line
with the reconciliation, reformation and
Rebuilding agenda of the party chairman,”
he said, adding, “As a party that is fully
organised and vibrant, well noted for its
adoption of rule of law and natural justice in
the discharge of its activities, the decision to
embark on this tour in order to properly
position the party to face future challenges
is indeed paramount.

“The assembly of the crème of our party
faithful at this meeting only signals and
lends credence to our desire to ensure that
we develop new ideas, initiatives and
innovations that will further solidify the
party and move it forward.

“I therefore call on us to approach today’s
meeting with a clear mind and conscience
and to develop more pragmatic ways that
will consolidate the strength of our party by
embarking on people-oriented projects and
programmes in each tier of government that
will not only improve the lives of our people
but will create wealth amongst our citizens.
“We must shun all overtures by those who
are bent on destroying the party through
anti-party activities and be unified in our
quest to strengthen a party that has made
its mark and improved the lives and well-
being of our citizens. We must be unified
and steadfast for the growth and strength of
our great party and in the interest of our
dear citizens.

“Our actions speak for us. Our laudable
programmes at all the three tiers of
government coupled with our respect for
rule of law, good governance and democratic
tenets serve as our trademark. It is in this
regard that it becomes pertinent among
members of this great party to carry this
trademark wherever we go as a good
product sells itself.

“Our greatest asset is our unity of purpose
and acceptability as the only national party
that has as its centre piece the popular
slogan ‘Power to the People’. Once we are
fully reconciled, rebuilt and reformed, we
shall continue with our capability of tackling
any opposition from any quarters of this
country.”

The gej balls cleaners and brown eye lickers would do well to always remember the author of this statement.

They are fond of turning truth on its head, but I've delibrately opened this thread for the singular purpose of record keeping as regards the man calling for violence.

Nobody should come here and tell us he meant what he said metaphorically because whatever statements Buhari makes are always taken in the literal sense. They might even wind up sayin Buhari made the statement and not Tukur!

Bunch of troglodytes.

Nairaland wouldave been up in smokes right now had that statement been made by Buhari. One wouldave seen all manners of name callin, from blood sucker, to terrorist. But since it isn't coming from the General, it is acceptable.

Nigerians and their hypocrisy.

Declaration of war from PDP's "do or die" political garrison commander. Who knows what the "nest of killers" and the incestuous-immoral-animals in PDP have on the horizon. The emergence of an alternative platform is truly unnerving PDP!

We know the patronage is all about "Sharing the Money." Another heinous economic crime brewing, just like the 2011 subsidy scam!

Thank you. Self-deception is something common to those characters. Imagine, what sane person would go around proclaiming Buhari as a Boko Haram leader when the former top intelligence officer in Nigeria (Azazi) stated that PDP is Boko Haram?

You are certainly correct stating that these deluded elements may well turn around tomorrow to attribute Tukur's utterance to Buhari.

I salute your 'record-keeping' effort but it ultimately serves no purpose since you are dealing with characters who are extremely biased, completely unprincipled and ultra-deluded individuals.

They don't operate with the principles of factual right or wrong you abide with. They have no honour or abiding principles. They are completely driven by their blind biases and devotion to sectional affiliations. To that end, they will find a way to blame Tinubu and Buhari , for future electoral mess Nigeria encounters, while forgetting the incendiary 'do-or-die' antics of Tukur et al.

How you do you expect people who are filled with evil and manipulations to think? If it were Buhari that makes a similar statement, the bigots and village monkeys from SE would have bombarded this thread with unintelligent posts.

So, the Commandant General of PDP has declared war on APC members and their supporters. He should know that the APC is a peace loving party and won't go to war, but will seek the votes of Nigerians peacefully. PDP may have the police, soldiers, JTF, Boko Haram, but that wouldn't be enough to threat anyone.

Come 2015, PDP will be kicked out of every government house in Nigeria.

So everyone has scrapped the next two years of development to prepare for war in 2015?

Since 5.37am and the thread is still '14' comment?
It shows the DIRECTION of our tomorrows....
If Bamaga Tukur says ''Boko Haram is fighting for Justice.....'' it becomes Statesmanlike
If Bamanga Tukur says ''We are going to war in 2015........'' it becomes A Party thing
If Azazi says ''PDP is Boko Haram.......'' It becomes ''Na Today?

But if Buhari says ''Cast your vote and stay, if anyone tries to tinker with it, lynch him..'' He becomes blood sucking demon, BH leader....etc

I can only Pity my Nation where many have refused to think with their brains, but think with ''how much is involved''

Yes ooo!!! War in 2015.

Sadly the war is‎ on already, PDP bombing all over the North.

Next stop will be the South West. The only places to be spared is‎ the SE and SS, places where GEJ will win with over 80% of votes..

Carry on General Tukur!! Aren't Boko Haram "fighting for justice" like you said?? They're fighting for justice in behalf of aggrieved PDP members. Keep killing Nigerians, do whatever it takes to ensure your messiah, Mr. Scumbag El-Retardeen Ebele wins in 2015..

Now, you can never find those bigots in threads like this. They avoid the truth like a leper. 2015 is just around the corner, we would do everything within the ambits of the law to ensure no 'scumbag' gets to set themselves up in positions that they know they arent capable of handling.

For the progressives, to the polls is where we are headed and not WAR. Bamanga should ensure he gets his thieving son to lead his batallion of soldiers when they get to the war front.

Twats.

Very brilliant point!
Seriously, the Scumbag knows the only chance of him gettin back to Aso Rock is if voting takes place only in the South South! They have already started sending the agents of death and fear to the South West as seen in recent events in Lagos et al. My only prayer is that the chief executives in those states remain steadfast in their effort to ensure none of the states become anything like what we see in the North East.

The desperation of the Scumbag and the nest of killers is getting out of hand!

Well we've always known that the PDP has thrived by using state funds for patronage (sharing the money, as it's called) but for the National Chairman to admit it on TV? Shocking.

Then again, should I be shocked? After all Godswill "Lau lau spending" Akpabio has also admitted rigging a senatorial election.

With leaders like this, I'm deeply worried about this country's future.

If you did not realise it , it is now very clear. PDP,has always been at war with Nigerians. Their body language...and choice of words..... do or die, and reaction to our protests,...as portrayed by ",come chop" passengers like Abati and Okupe...."sophisticated ignorance" , ",no apology" is nauseating andunsulting.
More insulting, to my mind, is the fact that their WMD...weapon of mass destruction is our our collective resources.....money,assets and opportunities. No thanks to our docility

Don't be surprised. Those unthinking government lackeys and minions you see here are available for rent or hire. They're shameless mercenaries.

Today they have been been rented and are working for Jonathan. If Buhari or another person wins the election tomorrow, the same set of people would drop Jonathan like a hot plate and switch to Buhari.

They have another name - AGIP: Any Government In Power. They are ready to work for anybody provided the crumbs get to them. They are without principles. They have no consistent creed. They have no scruples. They are ruled by their throats.

They don't really hate Buhari, they just love their pockets. They know the truth but they've been bought.

Can you see any of them on this thread?
