cantell: Here is the step by step guide of what to do
to connect to 3g or edge if it disappears when you put blackberry.net as your apn.
1. Dial *#*#info#*#* on ur phone. I.e *#*#
4636#*#* This will bring out some hidden
android menu 2. Goto the first item: phone
information 3. Scroll down to the bottom. At
the bottom u will see a setting like "toggle
dns check:0.0.0.0 not allowed" 4. Just tap
the toggle dns ones to allowed I.e after u
tap it ones it will become "toggle dns check:
0.0.0.0 allowed" Press back and exit...the
edge or 3g symbol should appear
immediately on ur phone, if u have already
set ur access point to blackberry.net. if it
doesn't immediately, just toggle airplane
mode on and off. And it will appear. Then u
can go ahead and use any trick whatsoever
(droidvpn/tweakware) to browse with mtn
bis on android. N/b U don't need ur phone
to be rooted to do this. It works on all
android phones.

OK, dip ur Lumia into a boiling pot of water, allow to steam for 5 mins, then allow it to cool a bit, then insert ur sim card and browse away freely.

Goto "Access point name" under "Wireless n Network" i.e. Where u did ur mtn BB apn settings, make sure ur blackberry.net apn doesn't include any proxy or pot, set "Authentication type" as "PAP" and "APN type" should show "not set", then save. reconnect ur droid vpn and try using the apps that no longer work to see if they work now.

Mtn Bis just started working again on my phone without Droidvpn. Am I dreaming or what?!

Right now, it's fine for normal browsing but not for downloading because of the instability of the 3g network, which goes on and off every five seconds. The 2g network is stable though, which is what I'm using right now.

Brodaz the BIS now works on my phone even without Change Of Access Point, At present I'm scared to change The access point as the packet data sign might vanish and my mobile pcket data Is on edge also scared to change to 3g...should i change apn to bb.net

My mtn Bis still working without droidvpn, 3G still unstable but gettin better.

I guess that is what I will do.
