I've made up my mind on what fabric I'll be using for this sew along and would be sharing shortly.
The first post for the sew along would be uploaded this weekend.

Please what is the best method of inserting a Zipper to a dress without it looking rough, i think am having a difficulty doing this.

What sort of zip are you using?

The normal detachable type (not the invisible).
SIze 20/24

U can fix it either by concealing the zipper @ both sides with ur fabric or directly on top of ur fabric. Would send photos of both closures mrow.

Hello guys........ Welcome to the October sew along project (pls i'm not an instructor.)
It's as if the thread is getting boring.
Anyways, my fabric pics are too big to upload. I will post them as soon as i reduce its size.
@instructors, pls i'm now soo lazy, doing nothing. I have boasted of doing a jacket to my friends and they are waiting for me to rock it.......see u guys

Shoulder
Bust
Apex
Armhole
Bodice length
Empire
Waistline
Sleeve length
Sleeve cuffs(biceps,wrist,as well as ur three quarter cuff I.e underneath ur elbows)
Hips/abdomen

Ps- I'm using another ankara,and might alter a few parts on mine buh it wouldn't affect the class. don't blame me. I'm spontaneous like d@ *grin

Hello ladies, how have u all been,I am glad to be back on this thread.onarri and others I am feeling all those colourful fabrics u all posted men

I thought I missed, but some how the jacket project has magically waited for me.............and for that I say Ope o!

So I shall also share my fabric soon and pls onarri you may need to repost the jacket we working on plus as soo as you give the go aheard on my part to teach I shall be ready this time.

As for my fashion show it went well and soon I shall upload the pictures to my websit for any interested in it.some are already on my threads.hopefully by next week others would be.

Hello evry1 in da ous, I'm kinda new here, @ onari& efosa val u ar just 2 much. I sew 2 but av just few challenges which includes but not limited 2 difficulty with cutting sleeve without gather(s). Look 4ward 2 learnin from u guys thanks

I'm afraid I hav a bit of disappointing news. Something just came up n so I can't 100percent participate in this month's sewalong due to my busy schedule.tried so hard to make it work but ts just too inconveniencing @ this time as my attention is needed in other places as well.
I would like to delegate the exercise to Efosa-glad u'r back dear, although I'll DEFINITELY b on standby to give tips and assistance @ intervals cos I honestly can't be totally absent.
