Here I'm bro! Am at GIS office in Abuja today trying to sort out our unpaid stipend issues based on @Puntersmind directive, the good news is that GIS are definitely trying their best to sort out genuine unpaid stipend within their possible available time and energy.

According to response I heard from the GIS official when ask about date of the payment, he said, the scheduled has been made and money is in the Bank but just remain approval for the disbursement.

For various unpaid stipend, GIS is more willing to discuss with our respective employers than intern so as to verify the veracity of our unpaid stipend. I even try and place some calls to some employers from the list with me so that they can discuss directly with GIS staff but is quite unfortunate none of those employers neither pick my call nor call back. I have to call my employer right there and talk to them to confirm my complaint. Actually, most of omission is more of technical and there is every possibilities that some will be paid June stipend but not the backlog.

As for the backlog I will advice everyone to try and call GIS customer care and do this with your employer so that he can talk directly with them about your issues. Their CC office is next to the office I am today and I can over heard them emphasizing employer stuff. Their cc is working now from 8-5 and they are more ready now to respond to any issue(s).
