Please I need help. I am a fresh graduate of Economics. All my life I have been into private business and studying. I really need your help to proceed on this Canadian programme.

1. I really need to start the process but don't know how

2. I don't really know what category of job I should choose that falls under my discipline.

I approached an agent and he sold me a form ( not Canadian form) that look like the real deal. I filled up the form and he said it will take 3 months after he send it to Canada before they will reply me. Honestly this is a long time.

Can anyone help with the process in a simple language

+1 613-944-4000.

You'll be routed up and down. Listen carefully to the computer instructions. I took note of the instructions. I pressed 1 6 times, then 3, then 1 again. That's 11111131. But not immediately the call connected o. Just wait for each set of instructions. At the last point it'll ask you to enter your UCI don't do anything. It'll ask you 3 different times. Just ignore and hold on. If you don't enter anything it'll tell you to hold for an operator.

Please note that you shouldn't be asking about the status of your application. They would never answer that over the phone. Just tell them you can't seem to find your UCI. That can they please help you with it so you can track your application online. Be very very polite please. They'll ask some security questions so please have all your information ready. And then they'll give it to you. No stress.

Another thing is we were monitoring charge and PER dates on the Canadavisa forum. So we had an idea when PER for our dates were being issued. We waited 3-4 days before calling them. Considering that haven been charged we most likely had a UCI number even though we hadn't received PER.

I think you have entered one chance with that agent of yours. He sold you 1 form? ? Just 1 form? There are plenty of forms for a valid fswp application. That being said, if you have been in business all your life I doubt that you'll be eligible, at least not under fswp. You need at least 1 year of verifiable full time employment under a valid NOC regardless of your qualifications. Although, Canada has various immigration schemes. I think you should figure what's most suitable for you.

Hello guys,

Quick question pls. The work experience section in the new imm008_3e form section 12b does not have a tick box for jobs less than one year (October - June). Someone suggested I tick 1year, do you agree too?

i concur with ferdimako..let your wife do the IELTS..it is easier for her to score the minimum than you to hit the 21points that you seek for not that you cant but probable...you wife?she can hit the additional 5points with little or less effort...she can register now and pick a date within the January or if Dec is stil available...going for remarking to me is time consuming and the outcome may not come out better at time it does ..all is still probable.Learn from my experience..i did IELTS twice hoping to hit the desired point and both came out just the same points again..i took advise from people like ferdinmako, solomonwise and damkollins and let my wife take the test and she hit more than me sef..which was what i would have done without rewriting twice.all what you need is not who brought the desired points but that you have it.Best of Luck
Again the spouse's 5points will solidify the overall points. For example he will have 25 instead of 21 he was hoping for or trying to get and that increases the final points which could bring in more confidence. I believe his NOC isn't filling up any time soon.

Good day peeps,

Under the form (Additional Family Information (IMM 5406)), do I fill in my father, mother and siblings' details, as I am not married yet?

OR should I fill in only my details and ignore the the rest.
A bit confused here as the application guide pointed dependants being one's own family (i.e wife and kids).
