83 year old televangelist and media mogul Pat Robertson says that all men have a tendency to cheat and it's a wife’s duty is to keep her man faithful, by focusing on the positive and making sure the home is so enticing he doesn’t want to stray. Robertson said this while responding to a question from a viewer who wrote:

“I’ve been trying to forgive my husband for cheating on me. We have gone to counseling, but I just can’t seem to forgive, nor can I trust. How do you let go of the anger? How do you trust again?"

Below is Pat Robertson's reply...

“Here’s the secret. Stop talking the heating. He cheated on you, well, he’s a man. You need to focus on the reasons you married him. Does he provide a home for you to live in? Does he provide food for you to eat? Does he provide clothes for you to wear? Is he nice to the children… Is he handsome?”

What? So if he does all this then it's OK for him to cheat? See what else he said after the cut...

Since the time of Eve, women have been blamed for the failings of men.
Am just surprised that the 'evangelist' chose to ignore the fact that adultery has been frowned upon even since biblical times.
Women are not super heroes, we can't save the world, save the family, save the man from himself, look as sexy as a super model and have dinner on the table by 6pm.

Sheesh, so hypocrisy in marital affairs is a global phenomenon and not just restricted to 9ja alone!

Poster this is not the complete story. He has since apologised about his statements being mis-understood after receiving alot of criticism from the media. The man has said he was mis-understood. And guy, this is not a license to be irresponsible!

A cheat will always cheat.

Everybody (men and women) has the tendency to cheat especially in marriage. The only things that can save one are: fear of God, integrity, determination and Love, to mention but few. Adultery is now a norm and has been generally accepted in some societies. Unfortunantly we are at the last days. This is also the sign.
