Just checked my badoo profile after a very long while,only to realise that a good number of them girls have deleted their accounts and their pictures and profiles yanked off the network. Tried hard to find out why and something came to mind. Perhaps,they've gotten married and want to start a new life and as a result,have tried cleaning up their mess as much as they can. So,they've decided to clean everything out.

Now,my question is this: what if you find your wife's picture and profile on badoo after you guys have been joined in holy matrimony,and all along,she's been acting like St Theresa? What would you do?

Dunno. A few, I guess. But I'm not planning on finding out what went down only after I've made an irrevocable decision. I'd rather be told the horrifying past and allowed to take it in perspective and be sure that I can live with it.

Did I say that? I didn't. I said that I don't want to be told what my wife did or was only after I've married her and then have to deal with that. The fact that I'm already married to her will make me feel trapped and people aren't their best when they feel trapped.

If instead we date for awhile and know that we're in love and the next possible step is marriage and she lets me in on her horrendous past, I will be in a position to either walk away or cement the relationship. If what I'm seeing in the present suggests that the past only made her a better person, the future might be a promise I would gladly bet on. Why would I not go on to marry her then?

The past is not what would prevent me from marrying a woman. What it has made her and how it has positioned her future is what will.
