Let's await the big conflagration in the middle east. Proxy war unfolding in Syria: the west using corrupt monarchies of saudi arabia,Qatar and the zionist Vs Iran, hezbollah, minorities in syria(alawite, xtians, shias etc) strongly backed by Russia and china.

50calibre: Israel aiding the rebels? That's funny because even the rebels themselves wish for the annihilation of isreal. If there is any common ground among in Arab world, it's the hatred for isreal.

What you do not understand is that the US, Israel and Al-Qaeda work hand in hand even though this may be by coincidence. For example how can one reconcile a situation where the US and Britain want to supply the confirmed Al-Qaeda rebels with state of the art arms and weaponry, surely there is something amiss here. Or the state of Israel supporting Al-Qaeda in weakening the Syrian forces to the point of defeat even though some of their chemical weapons may fall into the hands of terrorists.

The destruction caused by Al-Qaeda ( led by Saudi ) and their western counterparts is horrendously profound and utterly despicable.

There really is an unholy alliance between the west and Al-Qaeda , after all the CIA created Al-Qaeda.

lain: Isreal the most aggressive country on planet earth, they want to rule the middle east. Iraq has been conquered, afghanistan partially, now its syria even if syria falls (which may not happen) iran would not and for iran to fall, the despotic kingdoms of bharain, s.arabia, qatar etc wuld all fall infact the whole of m.east wuld shake. If isreal thinks it can defeat iran then they are in dreamland

dreamland you said? I pity your ignorance.you dont know the God of abraham, isaac and jacob.

Well that's the sad reality because even after all that has happen so far, and a radical Islamic group fighting in Syria called al-nusra openly pledged allegiance to al-Qaeda and openly fly al Qaeda flag, they are willing to supply arms to them based on the wishful thinking that they won't fall into the hands of radicals

I think the US are so consumed with regime change in Syria that they are willing to take a massive gamble

as long as the bible hasn't removed israel as the chosen nation, believe me it is inpeneterable.it may fall, maybe defeated in times to come but it will forever stand and never crumble.if Iran wants to start an offensive in israel, why haven't they loaded their locally built fighter jet with their nukes and go ka boom boom pow the whole of Tel Aviv.israel is surrounded by enemies and is never at full length peace.

On the surface and based on historical records, while your assertion might be true, the present dynamics of the Syrian conflict might largely prove this to be different. The Free Syrian Army (FSA)I do not believe can on its own defeat Assad based on its relative disadvantage in numbers and battle equipments and as such, a 'determined common enemy' would be appreciated to the 'mutual' benefit of both the FSA and Israel. It can also be understood that Israel seeks primarily to 'preserve' its recognition in the international community and should Assad be brought down, Israel could be satisfied with a 'weakened foe' that is, Syria rather than an outright occupation of the country. So, I believe that while no concrete links have been established between Isreal and the FSA, the interest and taste of victory for the FSA would largely determine if this collaboration is to materialize on a full scale (even if covert).

Which history? They were enslaved and nearly annihilated. There was/is no "divine interventions" in Israeli wars! They just happen to have super power backings while fighting poorer armies. They should bomb the Iranians if they think they are the baddest guys in town.

Forget these biblical Jewish invincibility, it's bullsh*t. If a nation with proper military and strategy, goes against isreal, it would be a different story.

In 2006 when ordinary Hezbollah were raining down missiles on Jerusalem, they were all running about like whipped dogs despite the fact isreal were doing more damage to them than the other way round.

The difference is Islamic extremist crave and sees death as Martyrdom whereas isreal loves life and enjoyment.

shymexx: Since Hezbollah and the Basij forces of Iran, joined the Syrian war, Syria has made massive gains in the war. The capture of the rebel strongholds of Quasyr by the combined effort of Syrian army and Hezbollah means the war is about to come to an end. They just need to consolidate on that, by capturing Homs - and that will be the end. Little wonder why Western countries including America have been clamouring to negotiations in the last few weeks.

Russia also just supplied Syria with advanced Yakhont antiship cruise missiles and the S-300 batteries. That's the game changer right there. Israel might be the new front after Syria's internal war and with Hezbollah and Iran deeply involved in Syria - Syria is about to fight to get Golan back Israeli occupation. Israel just be verrrrrry worried.

Nigeria can definitely learn a thing or two about military tactics and "shock and awe" in military confrontation, with the way Syrian army and Hezbollah forces were able to capture Quasyr within two days. That was the rebel's strongest hold, with about 10,000 forces and bunkers everywhere.

Military tactics for dummies lool.

sure God doesn't support those killings as well as he wouldn't support unjustified provications by its surrounding enemies.Israel is naturally agressive,it responds any threat as fast as a supersonic jet and the whole issue escalates.but,as long as the bible hasn't been re-written.it is still God's beloved and chosen people.when the new convenant was instituted,God still referred to them as a Rebellious nation, that Israel as turned atheist which I don't quite think is.no iota of God's word falls to the ground.his convenant with Israel still stands even if the new convenant is for the whole world.its still mainly israeli.

You know hezbollah defeated Israel in 2006, right? The videos of crying Israeli soldiers are still all over youtube.

Wars are unpredictable and I'm sure the morale of the Syrian army is high as ever after all the gains they have made in the past few months. Add hezbollah and basij forces to that and it becomes difficult to call.

well said.like I said they may be defeated in times to come, but that Israel as a nation crumbles no way.its major allies worship her feets, these are countries no other nation can bully.why isn't Israeli officials being tried at the international crimainal court for war crimes and crimes against humanity which they continously commit.look at those who voted against and stayed neutral at palestine status upgrage in UN.they had no reason to oppose the new status, but they did or rather stayed neutral or absent.Israel knows on what rock they stand on and dre capability to subdue their enemy still stands.hf theirs no God intervention how do you comprehend 9 israeli soldiers with guns taking on 50 militants with tanks and rocket launchers in West Bank in an open fire.they killed them all.explain that.no doesn't fight battles but did the rockets miss target or they were invisible.

What gains are you talking about?? Which towns has Assad forces recaptured??
(Mind you am in favour of Assad surviving this).

You fired some rounds at your enemy's patrol jeep, your enemy replies with artillery shell precisely destroying the source of fire.

And even with your high morale you sit and do nothing.

You are building a nuclear facility, your enemy wakes up one day flies some bombers to your site levels along with the workers there. Yet you do nothing instead try to cover it up.

you try to ship advanced weaponry to Hezbolla three times this year and this enemy effectively bombed and destroyed your convoy of men and advanced weapon. yet you do nothing??
Why didnt Iran and Hezbolla come to your aid in all this?? Noting that some Iranian commanders died with the weapons convoy.

you are right war is unpredictable, Ask egypt and the other five arab nations how it could quickly turn around.
